War...

war creates fighting that kills everyone...
war creates hate where love should be...
war creates tears that will never dry away...
war creates pain that wont go away...
war creates sadness that wont feel better...
war creates destruction that will take too long to fix...
war blinds us of what’s right or wrong...
war steals us of the right to be happy...
war creates gaps that keep us apart...
war creates a fire you cant put out...
war drops bombs on our hopes and dreams...
war creates children without a father, no one to tuck them in at night...
war makes it hard for a parent to say “everything will be alright” when then don’t even have anyone that they can say “good night”.
war scars a child's mind with things they cant erase...
war makes a good nights sleep a living hell...
war creates nightmares that are never-ending dreams and then, just screams
war creates guilt that eats you alive inside...
war makes you see things that make you scream inside...
war creates scars when all you've seen is blood and more...
war only leaves death when every body drops to the floor...
war creates silence after it ends, so how long till it starts again?
and when all the willing that will fight, die and say their last good night
the war will end, the living will mourn, all for peace but what was it all for? For all those people who died, just so now everyone alive, can do nothing to cope but cry...

Butterfly

Constantly creepin' caterpillar,
Still a swoon in a cocoon.
Soon you might emerge,
And you're made to emerge.
A little longing to love, lush,
Starving for affection.
Hidden by the size of my perfection,
With one exception...
If you wanna butterfly,
You gotta be a butterfly.
You know that nothing falls out of the sky.
Still a swoon in a cocoon.
If you wanna butterfly,
You gotta be a butterfly.
You know that nothing falls out of the sky.
How do I hide somebody from the great blue wide?
I'll come and sweep you up,
'Cause your time ain't up, be patient.
Now you see the sun is rising and your realizing,
Wise enough to know,
That you gotta let yourself grow.
If you wanna butterfly,
You gotta be a butterfly.
You know that nothing falls out of the sky.
Still a swoon in a cocoon.
If you wanna butterfly,
You gotta be a butterfly.
You know that nothing falls out of the sky.
What goes around comes back around;
This is nature's way.
Be conscious of what you do,
Because you will be repaid.
If you put turnips in the ground,
You will not harvest grapes.
You are what you attracted,
And this is why I say;
Uhhhhhh...
If you wanna a butterfly,
You gotta be a butterfly.
You know that nothing falls out of the sky.
Still a swoon in a cocoon.
If you wanna a butterfly,
You gotta be a butterfly.
You know that nothing falls out of the sky.
Constantly creepin' caterpillar,
Still a swoon in a cocoon.
Soon you might emerge,
And be made to emerge.
Maybe...
Still a swoon in a cocoon (repeated MANY times!)

Miracles Of Transformation

place lived in could be
a harsh barren dessert
where sudden sand storm
can strip our life to bone

God hides great serene
beauty in strange places
to teach hope in inspired
miracles of transformation

there is incredible serene beauty written...
into mysterious timeless dessert places...

once a gardener asked God for two gifts:
a beautiful plant with colourful flowers,
and a butterfly to flutter about the flowers,
to add beauty to his small potted garden:

the gardener excited waited for his flowering plant...
the beautiful butterfly he believed God would give...

the gardener prayed for forty days and forty nights:
God observing devotional faith answered his prayer;
presented him with a cactus plant and a caterpillar;

are you surprised because the gardener asked for,
a beautiful plant with amazing colorful flowers,
yet God answered his prayers with a cactus plant?

God knew the needs of the man’s faithful heart:
secrets written into his patient appreciative soul;
the gardener knew the secret ways of dessert life;

for many days the gardener thanked God for this gift,
of sacred life; to add beauty to his small potted garden:
at dawn dust all hours between; the gardener thanked,
God for the wisdom glory of this special gift bestowed:

soon the cacti bloomed with amazing colourful flowers,
and in the place of the caterpillar there was a beautiful,
stunning butterfly, to flutter about the colourful flowers:

God told that gardener old a new spiritual message.
God said “I will send my only begotten son, to be
born as flesh, like the caterpillar I gave you on the
cactus plant, to walk in the world; my man of faith”

God said “My child how you wondered,
what had happened to the caterpillar?
From where did the butterfly come? ”

A Story of The Rising Butterfly / Underneath My Chrysalis

Laying on the green leaf, left and abandoned
Be a caterpillar, never easy as u thought
Hated, oppressed are common, love is rarely brought
With friends, everywhere is like home, strong without bone
Chase away negative shadow out of sacred zone

Up to the sky, wind share stories beyond the garden
You hope to fly, discover new world heaven
Hopes given by grasshopper always make you strong
Dragonfly said, dream high, it is nothing wrong

'What joking and tricks you try to do?
Don't u realize me, a worm look like you?
Stop dreaming, we useless, nothing we can do'
But for caterpillar, everything possible to do
Worm said i can't wait to laugh at you
Smiled, caterpillar replied 'I'll prove to u'

Revolution mind trigger real evolution
Wrapped in chrysalis, carrying seed of ambition
Confidence is a key, frustration is motivation
Follow intuition, hunt for pride redemption
Just leave out your depression...

Dawn disappeared, morning taking over
It is time to hunt dreams,
Fight obstacles across the stream
Step down, you walk toward light beam
Everybody surprised almost to scream

Worm can't stop glaring and wondering
Friends sharing bliss and cheering
Wow..Wow wow beautiful, but who are you...
Caterpillar is that really you...?

Amazingly, now how beautiful you have being
Worm seems like don't believe what it just seeing
Flawless scene, rainbow lines you create wings
Caterpillar confides, this thing has a meaning
Essential thing, find yourself, not just dreaming

Thousand miles traveled, your wound now healed
Thousands flowers to meet, million pollens to breed
No more taste bitter leaves, now got free honey as a gift
Life destiny can be changed to what u wants it to be,
But you have to believe what you can be and what you want to be

Appreciate friends for support and love
Thanks to hater for hate instead of love
Because hate is hidden behind the love

A Butterfly Who Can't Get Out of His Cocoon

There was a mother butterfly
Who wished to have a female child
But out of his lain eggs in the meadow
She wasn’t sure if her wish was granted though

Then one baby caterpillar came out
From his broken shell he crawled up
With so much blessings around him
He grew faster and changed his skin

The caterpillar then became a pupa
Hung upside down on a woody plant
He surpassed the strong wind
Through the calamity of life he stays in

The time has come for the pupa
After slowly changing his shape inside
He has to crack his own cocoon
He has to let his wings out soon

But he prefers to stay inside his room
He just made a small hole in his cocoon
Through this he gazed and took a scene
He fears the outside world may not admit him

He noticed his mother butterfly
Patiently waiting outside
She’s very much excited
For her child to come out

Though the young butterfly
Experienced pains and struggles inside
He decided to stay in the cocoon
Than to give his mother a great frustration

How can he get out of his world?
He wanted to hide his true color!
He will ignore the longings of his heart,
His love for the bees than flowers with nectar.

Love creates mysterious things,
Love creates beautiful expressions,
Love creates everything we need,
Love creates without a thought :)

Love creates no thinking mind,
Love expresses from hearts,
Love comes through effortlessly,
Love becomes the place we share :)

Love is our greatest gift,
Love shares our hearts as one,
Love is creation and our intentions,
Love knows our beauty without pretending :)

Love creates ABUNDANCE always,
LOVE CREATES OUR INTENTIONS,
Love creates our endless wants regardless,
Love is our self expression SHARED :)

Behind Every Gross Appearance Has Invisible Subtle!

Isn't it true
neither moon nor universe, not
even I or you are visible without the
invisible in us.
Visible all are, only because of
that more invisible in us! Behind every visible gross
appearance, there is more
invisible subtle appearance,
When we look at the picture,
We usually forget the canvas,
When watching a TV program, usually we can't see how
invisible electrons produce the
image.

I cannot see my own face,
just as God hides his face to us...
Therefore, could it be that we
have one and the same face?

our face is one of His face,
Yet as he can look at his other
faces using one that he can't see,
We are looking at our other faces
using this one, That we can't see,
This is the truth that The God
uses this face to look at other
faces! Yet we visible to that invisible,
And we are visible only due to
that invisible ground on which
whole world play,
World itself is visible face of that
invisible face, Every life become visible only
because of that who hides is face
behind beauty and ugly faces
alike!

Caterpillar

Im a caterpillar
Im a caterpillar
Crawling for your love
Crawling for your love
Crawling for your love,
For your love.
Im a butterfly
Im a butterfly
Flying for your love
Flying for your love
Flying for your love,
For your love.
Well, Ill be anything that you want me to be.
Baby, Id even would be a-climbing up your tree.
Im a pterodactyl
Im a pterodactyl
Dying for your love
Dying for your love
Dying for your love
For your love.
Im an abominable snowman
Im an abominable snowman
Calling for your love
Calling for your love
Calling for your love
For your love.
Well now baby, Ill be anything that you want me to be,
Baby, a big monkey, a little monkey, a chimpanzee.
Oh now,
Im a caterpillar
Im a caterpillar
Falling for your love
Falling for your love
Falling for your love
For your love.
Oh baby,
Falling for your love
Falling for your love
Falling for your love
For your love.
Falling for your love
Falling for your love
Falling for your love
For your love.

A fable about the bee and the butterfly

Once upon a time

In a warm spring day

The bee flied far away.

It has left it’s shelter

To collect the sweet nectar

From the beautiful flowers

Using God’s dower.

When the bee flied over the field

Alas, it couldn’t see the caterpillar

That crept in the grass.

The caterpillar looked at the bee,

Looked at the sky with yearning,

It also wanted to fly,

Learning the world around

And not to creep on the ground.

Burning with passion, tearfully

The caterpillar said hopefully:

“I love you the bee.

I would agree to do anything

If only I could fly with you.

Don’t tell me adieu!

I haven’t any view from the ground

I just feel to be bound.”

The caterpillar was lost in tears.

Having enough sufferings during the day time

Butterfly

A caterpillar had the feeling

That change was coming

That time was stealing.

To embrace the metamorphosis

It wove a cocoon around its chest

And choose our wall to take its rest.

The young are thoughtless, often cruel

And I was no exception.

I would have destroyed it but

for Frankie’s intervention.

Frankie lived in the corner house

He was older and quite wise.

He taught me that this green cocoon

would change into a butterfly.

He bade me watch, he had me wait

to see the wonder taking shape.

We saw the Monarch first take wing

once caterpillar, now a King.

Several summers passed us by.

I still lived but Frankie died-

He was just eighteen, Young and brave

A landmine put him in his grave.

He died just before Saigon’s fall

Monarch

That butterfly I knew.
Pretending to be just a caterpillar...
With nothing else to do.
Crawling upon a branch,
And on leafs I saw it chew.
I watched this masquerade...
And stayed focused on it too!
That butterfly I knew,
Then tried to hide itself...
Inside a cocoon!

That butterfly I knew...
Inside that cocoon grew.
I saw a wing of beauty appear.
With designs of color too!
Did I imagine this in sleep?
Is that caterpillar pulling on me...
Some magical trick or treat?
And then it winked at me and flew away.
As if to say to me in flight...
'I wish I had your time,
With nothing else on my mind...
But to sit and contemplate on ways,
On how to waste my days and life!
I've got things to get done and do.
Do you? '
And this Monarch,
Away flew!

Cuckoo Cocoon

Rael regains consciousness in some musky half-light. he is warmly wrapped in some sort of cocoon. the only sound he can hear is dripping water which appears to be the source of a pale flickering
T. he guesses he must be in some sort of cave - or kooky tomb, or catacomb, or eggshell waiting to drop from the bone of the womb.
Wrapped up in some powdered wool - I guess Im losing touch.
Dont tell me this is dying, cos I aint changed that much.
The only sound is water drops, I wonder where the hell I am,
Some kind of jam?
Cuckoo cocoon have I come to, too soon for you?
Theres nothing I can recognise; this is nowhere that Ive known.
With no sign of life at all, I guess that Im alone,
And I feel so secure that I know this cant be real
But I feel good.
Cuckoo cocoon have I come to, too soon for you?
I wonder if Im a prisoner locked in some brooklyn jail
- or some sort of jonah shut up inside the whale.
No - Im still rael and Im stuck in some kind of cave.
What couldve saved me?
Cuckoo cocoon have I come to, too soon for you?
Resigning himself to the unknown he drifts off into sleep.

The Butterfly

as the wind sings, the trees dance in the most magnificent flows
and the river stream strenght its powerful turbid, down the river bank,
where the lilies and the stones jump to its tremendous joy of gladness

so sweet to see and feel, when all the birds flies beyond what we
can't reach, a blows of wind that echo there dances with the trees, spectacular beauty has it gain when melody, whisper in my ears,
that brings splendid songs of the butterfly

lives in the cocoon, miles a away, in an hour it hibernation in the distance shore, waiting the moment, when things get ripe and the
joy that it gives, will linger on in our naked eyes, for remembering is
knowing the future it takes

as the spirit it flies into the air, with its wings swing up, up in the sky, chanting the wild as it goes high, and as the sun shielded by the clouds, the cool breeze air fall into the cocoon nest, the wandering pupa, magical and gradually makes it easy way, turn into a very nice
larvae

a magic has made wonderful things to happen in a most unexpected
way, a moment to tell that everything has something to feel, a time in
our life to stand, to walk, to decide, to experience, to know and a time
to understand and accept that we are just a part of the whole sujourner of life with others cocoon

as it grows and turn into a mature butterfly, we can sing and swing the
last dance of the butterfly, beneath our very own cocoon, that moment
is a minute to wait, that once in our life time, we have experience of what is being a butterfly, who fly beyond this wonderful world we
see.

Transformations

THEY Wait
the caterpillar, the flower bud,
time is like a hand that does not compel
them, because by its unnoticeable grace
the process goes on and on

the caterpillar is caressed into a cocoon
in still air
stiller hours
of petals falling one by one
giving way to seeds
existence

the buds have no memories
what to tell
how one morning they all turn
into flowers
then wilt
upon the conquest of
sunset

some things too
have wings that flutter
happily
but only for
a day

One new Butterfly!

One day I know one new butterfly will be born
His mother is busy to keep a watch on the cocoon
She is waiting to see her baby
Stage by stage the caterpillar is taking shapes and try to form in to a butterfly from that cocoon
As the time fled
Alas, after a time
The baby is taking birth into a butterfly
Time to fly!
Time for the farewell with his mother
Now it is becoming mature slowly...
It is born successfully for his mother's watch!

Butterfly Logic

BUTTERFLY LOGIC

Butterfly logic is the intelligence of beauty. These poems represent my attempts at butterfly logic.

BUTTERFLY

the butterfly
cannot fly back
to the cocoon
he grabs thorns
from the rose
to arm himself

BUTTERFLY ANGEL

butterfly angel
soars with infinity
no rest stops
gliding from
blossom to blossom
bringing new flowers
to her fold to bloom
butterfly angel
knows
shifts into winged ecstasy
morphs into woman
touching hearts without compromise
butterfly angel
flies into infinity

MAGIC BUTTERFLY

It is the essence
of magic
for a butterfly
to be earthly
angel singing
watch her
spread wings
wide
as colors
magnificent
adorn
shadows
embrace
rainbows
and me.

Somethings Burning

Dont count your chickens
cos theyre never gonna hatch
You cant catch a monkey with a shotgun and a sack
cos youre too dull baby
You cant see the wood for the trees
cos youre too slow baby
You just couldnt get off your knees
Dont count your chickens
cos theyre never gonna hatch
You cant catch a monkey with a shotgun and a sack
cos youre too dull baby
You cant see the wood for the trees
cos youre too slow baby
You just couldnt get off your knees
I can see the love and the hate in your eyes
Penny for the thoughts behind your disguise
What you gonna do and what you gonna say?
Im not the only one believing theres an easier way
It doesnt pay to disorientate me
It doesnt cost to be someone
I am the vine
And youre the branches
Dont knock a young man
You dont know what hell get done
You cant kick and old man see what hes become
You are far too lazy
You stick to your pillow with ease
cos youre much too lazy
You just couldnt get off your knees
I can see the love and the hate in your eyes
Penny for the thoughts behind your disguise
What you gonna do and what you gonna say?

Something Burning

Don't count your chickens 'cuz they're never gonna hatch
You can't cut your monkey with a shovel [shuckle?] and a sack
'Cuz you're too dull, baby, you can't see the wood for the trees
'Cuz you're too slow, baby, you just couldn't get off your knees
Don't count your chickens 'cuz they're never gonna hatch
You can't cut your monkey with a shovel and a sack
'Cuz you're too dull, baby, you can't see the wood for the trees
'Cuz you're too slow, baby, you just couldn't get off your knees
I can see the love and the hate in your eyes
Heading for the thoughts behind the disguise
What you gonna do and what you gonna say?
I'm not the only one believing there's an easier way
It doesn't pay to be sorry, you take me [?]
It doesn't cost to be someone
I am her vine
And you're her branches
Don't knock her young man, you don't know what he'll get done
You can't kick and old man, see what he's become
You are far too lazy
You stick to your pillow with ease
'Cuz you're much too lazy, you just couldn't get off your knees
I can see the love and the hate in your eyes
Heading for the thoughts behind your disguise

Cocoon above! Cocoon below!

129

Cocoon above! Cocoon below!
Stealthy Cocoon, why hide you so
What all the world suspect?
An hour, and gay on every tree
Your secret, perched in ecstasy
Defies imprisonment!

An hour in Chrysalis to pass,
Then gay above receding grass
A Butterfly to go!
A moment to interrogate,
Then wiser than a "Surrogate,"
The Universe to know!
