Re-phrased Memory
God…….
Take me back to the day I was whole,
And set the clock where it started all.
Give me back my ears I didn’t use,
And my mind that made me confused.
My sight to see what will happen then,
My limbs and my feet to walk again,
Give me my hands to hold my future,
My arms to embrace life is worth for
Restore my strength to be a wiser man,
To choose the right way where all I can,
Give me back all what I have lost
My faith which I’ve forgotten most
Wash my body and cleanse my soul
And be your child once again to call
