Darkness
I stay in the shadow,
Away from everyone else.
No one knows my past,
And it will not last.
They come closer,
Trying to learn about me.
They don't understand,
I just want to be alone.
Everyone is trying to pair me up,
But I want to stay alone.
I work better alone,
See my tone?
Death approaches me,
Everyday.
I walk alone,
In the shadow of the day.
Slammed to the ground,
And moved all around.
I can handle,
Almost anything.
I am not to be messed with,
Calm as I may be.
I am violent,
When enraged.
Leave me alone,
'Mr. Sunshine.'
Darkness shall cover,
All of my troubles.
