Through the Glass
Why do i bother to open my eye?
When all i can do is sigh
never properly introduced
I do not know you and yet i feel seduced
that smile, and those clothes, the promise of something more
the promise of true love like that of childish lore
that flower in your hair
i cant help but stare
I'm not superficial I see something inside you
but you'll never know just who
who i am and who i hide
I'll just keep looking through the glass as from another world
you can't touch me
and you can't see
the man that i am
all i can do is just look at your through the glass
maybe one day our worlds will collide
one day i won't have to hide
but until then just keep that flower in your hair
until one day i dare
to break this glass, but at what cost? and is it even possible?
