Ressurection
Burning leaves,
Stinging scent in nostrils,
Tender leaves resurrect on Earth.
Dull feet
Tired pistons
Farmer throws mud caked boots
New dawn, a bird sings.
I look for a glint of fire
For my grandmothers pipe
The smoke will rise,
Mother, resurrection sits on hope.
