Synergy of Love

'Were you honed from poetry? '
I asked your saddened smile.
For it seems to tell a longing tale -
One of words in oratory
That speaks in languid metaphors
From lips of mind in deep despair
And solitude from inner wars
That over time has rendered life so frail.

'Were you carved from doleful prose? '
I sought to ask your gaze,
For a pain lies deep within your eyes -
One of barren territory
Where no fair heart could ever drift
And hope to venture back content
With grateful memories in a gift -
A land of your affectional demise.

'Do I hear a mournful hum? '
I wondered of your cry,
For it sings a song of deep lament -
One of quiet soliloquy
Recited on deserted strands
To waves that have no sense of song
And only wish to fight the sands -
A chant that cites emotional descent.

Do you know your face portrays
The colours of your soul?
It tells me at a single glance
Of how you burned your furnace whole
To stay the fire in our romance.

And see the prismic hues they bore!
I cherished all I ever saw:
Mauve of mystic; browns of rustic;
Reddened tones to match your blush;
Marine of passion, spending out your being,
Leaving you for ashen embers, fleeing
The dying light in hush of night.
And how you lay there empty.

So let me help re-grow the flowers
Once erect in fiery showers!
For now I've seen what love can do

people expect me to be perfect,
because i'm smart,
people expect me to get good grades,
because of all the hard work i put in,
people expect me to have my own business,
because i can be talented and creative,
people expect me to be a push over,
rather than a girl who speaks her mind,
people expect me to be something i'm not,
but all i can be is only myself,
people expect me to deal with life,
i can only deal with it the best i can,
people expect me to handle more than i can,
but who is it really for or what do i have to prove?
people expect me to be who they want,
but did they ever stop to think of what i wanted?

This tumor that clings to my chest
The thing that makes me ache
That haunts my dreams

Tests And Homework And Quizzes AND SCHOOL

Know the rulings of your heart are true

How can we expect good from anyone and be disappointed when
It is not displayed when we do not act in accordance to the rulings
Of our own hearts? How are we to expect anyone to resist the temptation
Of exploitation if we are to be so happy in exploiting others ourselves?
How are we to expect charity if we are never the ones to give it?
How are we to expect Love is we are never the ones to live it?
Are we to expect anything, least we end up disappointed?

I feel disjointed yet anointed with the blessing of being able to
Undress this manifest reality we have been given and to see
The true wonder that lay within just as I am here to show my gratitude
For the world beyond my flesh.

I don't want to be first in line to see Mrs. Train
I expect that it doesn't matter to Mrs. Train

Embarrassed?

You seem to have no problem,
Admitting those things you've done.
Even those things not socially accepted,
Others in a similar position...
Would try to hide or lie about them to run.

But you...?
You almost seem to brag,
About those things that shock and stun.
Why is this?
People today expect remorse shown.
At least some sign of embarrassment.
But you...?
You want it known what you've done,
With an emphasis in expressed sentiments.

'Embarrassed?
Are you kidding?
Why should I be embarrassed,
To experience and adventure?
I've been blessed with life,
To explore and discover...
Those things for me that are right.

The walking on water to prove I can do miracles,
Has already been done by the Chosen One.
And IF I am going to be doing any walking on water,
It will be frozen to be witnessed by at least someone.
Embarrassed?
Are you kidding?

And I am certaily over qualified to run for politics.
I do not lie or deceive or pretend to do magic tricks.
Or use religion...
To deny my sins committed.

To dilute a forgiveness to me that had been given.

I can never get my mind off her,
I wonder if she'd mind if i'd,
make her my own,
