I often wonder.
No,
Its not your
Ever laughing,
Dancing
Pair of chocolate brown eyes.
Nor,
Your vivacious smile,
Reaching
All the way up to your eyes.
No,
Its not those QID phone calls
Chats,
Or
Hours of vagabonding together.
What makes it rock
Is the way you say
“Hello”
And I know
What’s going to follow.
And how exactly
I can tell
Which day of the week
You will wear yellow.
It’s the comfort
In which we confide
Seriously
“I am shallow”
And
The very next moment
Laugh out loud
At the passing fellow.
I know,
Obviously,
We are not going to donate each other
Bone Marrow(different HLA profiles!!) .
But at least
We have promised to bring
“Chicken chawal”
in case one of us
