The Great Chinese Dragon

The great Chinese dragon which is the greatest dragon in all the
world and which once upon a time was towed across the
Pacific by a crew of coolies rowing in an open boat—was
the first real live dragon ever actually to reach these shores

And the great Chinese dragon passing thru the Golden Gate
spouting streams of water like a string of fireboats then broke
loose somewhere near China Camp gulped down a hundred
Chinese seamen and forthwith ate all the shrimp in San Francisco Bay

And the great Chinese dragon was therefore forever after confined
in a Chinatown basement and ever since allowed out only for
Chinese New Year’s parades and other Unamerican demonstrations
paternally watched-over by those benevolent men in
blue who represent our more advanced civilization which has
reached such a high state of democracy as to allow even a
few barbarians to carry on their quaint native customs in our midst

And thus the great Chinese dragon which is the greatest dragon
in all the world now can only be seen creeping out of an
Adler Alley cellar like a worm out of a hole sometime during
the second week in February every year when it sorties out
of hibernation in its Chinese storeroom pushed from behind
by a band of fortythree Chinese electricians and technicians
who stuff its peristaltic accordion-body up thru a sidewalk
delivery entrance

And first the swaying snout appears and then the eyes at ground
level feeling along the curb and then the head itself casting
about and swayingand heaving finally up to the corner of
Grant Avenue itself where a huge paper sign proclaims the
World’s Largest Chinatown

And the great Chinese dragons jaws wired permanently agape as
if by a demented dentist to display the Cadmium teeth as the
hungry head heaves out into Grant Avenue right under the
sign and raising itself with a great snort of fire suddenly proclaims
the official firecracker start of the Chinese New Year

And the lightbulb eyes lighting up and popping out on coiled wire
springs and the body stretching and rocking further and
further around the corner and down Grant Avenue like a
caterpillar rollercoaster with the eyes sprung out and waving
in the air like the blind feelers of some mechanical preying
mantis and the eyes blinking on and off with Chinese red
pupils and tiny bamboo-blind eyelids going up and down

And here comes the St. Mary’s Chinese Girls’ Drum Corps and
here come sixteen white men in pith helmets beating big bass
drums representing the Order of the Moose and here comes

St. George And The Dragon

Of Hector's deeds did Homer sing,
And of the sack of stately Troy,
What griefs fair Helena did bring,
Which was Sir Paris' only joy:
And by my pen I will recite
St. George's deeds, and English knight.

Against the Sarazens so rude
Fought he full long and many a day,
Where many gyants he subdu'd,
In honour of the Christian way;
And after many adventures past,
To Egypt land he came at last.

Now, as the story plain doth tell,
Within that countrey there did rest
A dreadful dragon fierce and fell,
Whereby they were full sore opprest:
Who by his poisonous breath each day
Did many of the city slay.

The grief whereof did grow so great
Throughout the limits of the land,
That they their wise-men did intreat
To shew their cunning out of hand;
What way they might this fiend destroy,
That did the countrey thus annoy.

The wise-men all before the king,
This answer fram'd incontinent:
The dragon none to death might bring
By any means they could invent;
His skin more hard than brass was found,
That sword nor spear could pierce nor wound.

When this the people understood,
They cryed out most piteouslye,
The dragon's breath infects their blood,
That every day in heaps they dye;
Among them such a plague it bred,
The living scarce could bury the dead.

No means there were, as they could hear,
For to appease the dragon's rage,
But to present some virgin clear,
Whose blood his fury might asswage;
Each day he would a maiden eat,
For to allay his hunger great.

This thing by art the wise-men found,

Saint George

The dragon, taller than a tree,
Looked down on George's head,
While he looked up uncertainly
And fighting first his dread...

He stood his ground, not one step back,
As faith within him grew,
For while he knew that things looked black,
He had to see this through...

The dragon stood his ground as well,
Though George held high his sword...
The dragon, thought to come from Hell,
Perhaps with fire stored...

The dragon had no flames and yet
He knew George planned his death,
Yet thought he had no need to fret,
If George no more had breath...

The dragon swished his giant tail,
But George was wise to that
And proved himself an agile male
Instead of falling flat...

The tail passed by, his sword went in,
The dragon roared in pain
And when George saw his chance to win,
He pierced the tail again...

If dragons cursed and dragons swore,
That must have happened next,
As blood then spurted out for sure,
With that big dragon vexed...

He dragged his dragon's tail away
As fast as he then could
And then decided, come what may,
To kill small George real good...

But George was quick to cut things short,
He climbed the dragon's tail
And valiantly he fought and fought
The dragon tooth and nail...

Across the back, just like a hill,
He clambered to the hilt,
Upto the neck where he stayed still,
In hopes the beast was killed...

The Example of Vertu : Cantos VIII.-XIV.

Capitalum VIII.

Dame Sapyence taryed a lytell whyle

And began on her to laugh and smyle
Axynge her how I stode in condycyon
Well she sayd in good perfeccyon
But best it is that he maryed be
For to eschewe all yll censualyte
I knowe a lady of meruelous beaute
Spronge out of hyghe and noble lynage
Replete with vertue and full of bounte
Whiche vnto youth were a good maryage
For she is comen of royall apparage
But herde it wyll be to gete her loue
Without youth frayltye do sore reproue
I kneled downe than vpon my kne
Afore dame Sapyence with humble chere

Saynge youth wyll ye haue a wyfe
And her to loue durynge her lyfe
Ye madame that wolde I fayne
Yf that she be both fayre and bryght

And pleas her alway with all my myght
Of suche a persone wolde I haue a syght

With your grete power so good and meke
That he all frayltye may eschue
For by the way it wyll oft pursue

As for that sayd she he shall not care
For he shall theym sone ouercome

The Last Breath You Ever Take

Can you feel it.
I'm taking over your body.
Controlling every move you make.
Controlling every breath you take.

You never know when it could be your last.

Crawling in inch by inch.
Do you even notice?
Stealing and murdering your soul.
The absence of life.
Go ahead try my device.
We all have to pay a price.
I already paid mine.
How bout you?

It's long past time.
A dead clock with a living vengeance.
A pattering of the wind and nothing else.
The crows cackle as they know I'm already here.
Only darken hearts have anything to fear.

Can you feel it.
I'm taking over your body.
Controlling every move you make.
Controlling every breath you take.

You never know when it could be your last.
You just never know when it could be your last.

A hurricane coming in so fast.
But it makes a dead stop and destroys.
No escape, no matter where you are.
Battling your demons from afar.
They will eventually catch up.
Keep telling that voice in your head to shut up.
But you can never silence guilt completely.

It's long past time.
A dead clock with living vengeance.
A pattering of the wind and nothing else.
The crows cackle as they know I'm already here.
Only darken hearts have fear.

Can you feel it.
I'm taking over your body.
Controlling every move you make.
Controlling every breath take.

Girls On Film (Night Version)

See them walking hand in hand
Across the bridge at midnight
Heads turning as the lights flashing out
Are so bright
And walk right out to the four line track
There's a camera rolling on her back
On her back
And I sense a rhythm humming in a frenzy
All the way down her spine
Girls on Film
Girls on Film
Girls on Film
Girls on Film
Lipstick cherry all over the lens as she's falling
And miles of sharp blue water coming in
Where she lies
The diving man's coming up for air
'Cause the crowd all love pulling Dolly by the hair
By the hair
And she wonders how she ever got here
As she goes under again
Girls on Film (Two minutes later)
Girls on Film
Girls on Film (Got your picture)
Girls on Film
Wider, baby, smile and you've just made a million
Fuses pumping live heat twisting out on a wire
Take one last glimpse into the night
I'm touching close
I'm holding bright, holding tight
Give me shudders in a whisper,
Take me up til I'm shooting a star
Girls on Film (she's more than a lady)
Girls on Film
Girls on Film (Two minutes later)
Girls on Film
Girls on Film (see you together)
Girls on Film
Girls on Film (see you later)

The Fight With The Dragon

Why run the crowd? What means the throng
That rushes fast the streets along?
Can Rhodes a prey to flames, then, be?
In crowds they gather hastily,
And, on his steed, a noble knight
Amid the rabble, meets my sight;
Behind him--prodigy unknown!--
A monster fierce they're drawing on;
A dragon stems it by its shape,
With wide and crocodile-like jaw,
And on the knight and dragon gape,
In turns, the people, filled with awe.

And thousand voices shout with glee
"The fiery dragon come and see,
Who hind and flock tore limb from limb!--
The hero see, who vanquished him!
Full many a one before him went,
To dare the fearful combat bent,
But none returned home from the fight;
Honor ye, then, the noble knight!"
And toward the convent move they all,
While met in hasty council there
The brave knights of the Hospital,
St. John the Baptist's Order, were.

Up to the noble master sped
The youth, with firm but modest tread;
The people followed with wild shout,
And stood the landing-place about,
While thus outspoke that daring one:
"My knightly duty I have done.
The dragon that laid waste the land
Has fallen beneath my conquering hand.
The way is to the wanderer free,
The shepherd o'er the plains may rove;
Across the mountains joyfully
The pilgrim to the shrine may move."

But sternly looked the prince, and said:
"The hero's part thou well hast played
By courage is the true knight known,--
A dauntless spirit thou hast shown.
Yet speak! What duty first should he
Regard, who would Christ's champion be,
Who wears the emblem of the Cross?"--
And all turned pale at his discourse.
Yet he replied, with noble grace,
While blushingly he bent him low:
"That he deserves so proud a place

My Maiden In Waiting

From hither came a sound roaring in temperate pastures
To keep at bay soldiers ponder not for shall we waken the beast
Beating back impulses the monster as risen from the lair
Swooping down on the innocent villagers he flew
The dragon lurks while the Maiden slumbers in her keep
Pasty butterfly wall the snake shall creep
One sting lay the maiden fair will capture

Valiant the black knight charges to slay the beast
With tender hands she embraces the serpent anaconda king
Lollipop dreams and cream fill cake to bake we make
Stirring in strawberry fields echo such sweetness be

Vaguely she remembered, from her distant passed, her flower erupts with feelings
Ride the dragon ride by and by she cries in joyful nuisance
Withdrawing the black knight tasted the cavern fruit she lays
Like and ice cream melting in the sun he devours her fruit of her passion

In circular motion his speech apparatus moves as she moans
Soft and wet slow the motion for now rivers run true
Contrivance protrudes sapping sweet nectar from the vine
She twists and turns while the dragon burns and yearns the fruit of her womb

She screams and scratches the Black Knight’s back as he feast on Joyful fruit
Contentment no more can stand she braces for the dragons penetration
The dragon swims deeper and deeper to crevasses untouched by mortals
She calls out his name “Sir Knight! Sir Knight! Well your labor be! ”
Grabbing the knight, yon maiden pulls him even deeper than before

Spreading her joy wide enters the dragon to warm waters
Sliding back and forth to a perfect fit, the dragon roars as the body trembles
Scream maiden screams as the dragon penetrates the fertile soil
Motions blurring as the battle grows ever fierce
She pulls him deep, tighter with every member thrust
Crying out in the night as tensions come to ecstasy
Sweet release the monster sleeps

As the night fades to dawn the black knight leaves a rose to signify his love
Having never felt such passion the maiden bestow her love
Mint chocolate and vanilla cream taste lingers in dwelling
Delectable fruits eaten to fulfillment desires

You Watched It Close Under Microscope

You watched it close under microscope.
Closer than anything you watched most
You watched it close under microscope.
Closer than anything you watched most
And now you don't believe,
What you see.

You watched it close under microscope.
You watched it close under microscope.
You watched it close under microscope.
You watched it close...
And still you don't believe,
What's there to see.

You watched it close under microscope.
You watched it close under microscope.
You watched it close under microscope.
You watched it close...
And still you don't believe,
What's there to see.

You watched it close under microscope.
You watched it close...
And...
Not to believe.

You watched it close under microscope.
You watched it close under microscope.
You watched it close under microscope.
And still you don't believe.

You watched it close under microscope.
You watched it close under microscope.
You watched it close under microscope.
And there to plainly see.

You watched it close under microscope.
You watched it close under microscope.
You watched it close under microscope.
And still you don't believe.
What's there to see.

You watched it close under microscope.
You watched it close under microscope.
You watched it close under microscope.
And there to plainly see.
But you can't believe it masked.

You watched it close under microscope.
You watched it close under microscope.

Controlling my feelings for too long
Controlling my feelings for too long
Controlling my feelings for too long
Forcing our darkest souls to unfold
And forcing our darkest souls to unfold
Pushing us into self destruction
Pushing us into self destruction

Make me scream your screams

Trying to please you for too long
Trying to please you for too long
Visions of greed you wallow

Dragon Days

Ooh baby ooh
Like a damsel in distress, I'm stressing you
My castle became my dungeon, cause I'm longin' for you
Feelin' strong for ya
You're my night in shining armor
See your face in the silver moon
Oh over the lagoon
And it feels like dragon days
And the fire's hot
Like a desert needs water
I need you a lot
Dragon days, I need to be saved
I'm missin' you
In the day we drag on and on
Desperate for you baby
Do you know what that means?
It means, I feel like an addict must feel
When he feens
In an act of desperation
I get lost in my dreams
Cause like a lady in waitin', I'm waitin for you
Like a kiss in time over alligator water
Waitin' for my prince of paradise to come and, take me away
From these, tock tick
Dragon days
And the fire's hot
Like a desert needs water
I need you a lot
So baby
Dragon days, I need to be saved
I'm missin' you
In the day you drag on and on
Don't you wanna play?
D-R-A-G-O-N days
Got me D-R-A-G-G-I-N
Cause I want u baby
And I need you baby
Dragon days
And the fire's hot
Like a desert needs water
I need you a lot (I need you a lot, I need you so bad)
Dragon days, I need to be saved
I'm missin' you
In the day we drag on and on
On, and on, on and on
Dragon days
And the fire's hot
Like a desert needs water
I need you a lot (I need you a lot, I need you so bad)
Dragon days, I need to be saved

The Dragon of the Black Pool

Deep the waters of the Black Pool, colored like ink;
They say a Holy Dragon lives there, whom men have never seen.
Beside the Pool they have built a shrine; the authorities
have established a ritual;
A dragon by itself remains a dragon, but men can make it a god.
Prosperity and disaster, rain and drought, plagues and pestilences—
By the village people were all regarded as the Sacred Dragons doing.
They all made offerings of sucking-pig and poured libations of wine;
The morning prayers and evening gifts depended on a “medium’s” advice.
When the dragon comes, ah!
The wind stirs and sighs
Paper money thrown, ah!
Silk umbrellas waved.
When the dragon goes, ah!
The wind also—still.
Incense-fire dies, ah !
The cups and vessels are cold.
Meats lie stacked on the rocks of the Pool’s shore;
Wine flows on the grass in front of the shrine.
I do not know, of all those offerings, how much the Dragon eats;
But the mice of the woods and the foxes of the hills are continually drunk and sated.
Why are the foxes so lucky?
What have the sucking-pigs done,
That year by year they should be killed, merely to glut the foxes?
That the foxes are robbing the Sacred Dragon and eating His sucking-pig,
Beneath the nine-fold depths of His pool, does He know or not?

I Encountered a Dragon

If a monster occupies the clump of eyes on our face
We hate the return of senses to the tears and face.
One monster is commotion, two creates tragedy
As well farce, fodder and feminine curiosity.
For these she-devils do not undermine the soul
As much as dragons, talons from the talent, creative sort.
We needed the strength and the spirit, the afflatus;
What is the amperage they create from the breath?
Which impulse afflicts him, the dragon?
He needs me to answer him, yet I do too,
And to aerially combat him is grand with amperage
As I do be grand, the eyes can tell and demonstrate
And commence for all the time.
My sword is my soldier, an affray has emerged forever,
Between dragon and human-beast, what is the final result?
Only a monster like me can win, can win;
Killing the scales of yellow, I discover it is not golden but bronze
And yet I want death for it, for him, for him,
Upper class dragon!
I am upper class, and fatigued by the whole battle
Inside which is death for the dragon,
I see its heart, and I see its belly
But I strike the heart, and no brain of a dragon interferes.
Instead I interfere, and this heart of its will shudder and fall
To be the death of the dragon, bronze dragon.
All of death occurred, wild dragon has been defeated
As the weapon I choose is good for poking hearts.

Princess And The Black Horse-IV(Isle Of Dragon)

'O, O Princess, this place unknown, inmates may harm,
come back, dear, we have to save your father's life.'
He followed her and going far reached at a cave,
where thick bushes, and weeds, clambers only did thrive.

What did he see, just imagine it's beyond our reach!
A dragon with his fiery mouth, was gasping fast.
The princess there was watching him as mesmerized.
The dragon seemed as if ill, in sporadic dust.

He noticed scars all over his wounded skin.
The dragon then signalled them beside to sit.
A bluish grume was coming out his scarred body.
Excited was he that they could hear his heart-beat.

Softy Princess, in keen sadness, uttered sotto voce-
'Oh! my Gosh! save good dragon with thine power! '
and took out dust that could cure fatal bruise,
(the wizard told) and put that on for an hour.

The dragon felt comfort and told his sad life story...
They used to live happily in that isle until Evilo
dragon, started living with them and mischievously
spoiled peace of mind, the mirth, laughter, smile Oh! .

Last night they had a final fight in which defeated he!
The island dragons fled in fear thinking half-dead!
Alone he was waiting death, and praying to Fire God.
Blackberry then fanned him and princess kissed on head.

The Sun was then going down, down the ding-dong mount.
Woh! just, just then Blackberry turned into a black horse!
The princess then, lit taper from the dragon's mouth's fire,
and told dragon to take long rest and forbade to remorse.

The Dragon and The Phoenix (version one)

The Dragon and The Phoenix (version one) :
The sleeping Tiger lies in a mist, covered in mystery.
Who is he, what is his purpose?
The sleeping Flame lies in a cloud, shrouded by time.
Who is she, what is her purpose?
As the could falls in the night, and mingles in the mist... the Flame touches the Tiger and both awaken. The Flame brightens and swirls around the Tiger, the Tiger roars as the flames engulf him and he transforms into the wise Dragon. The Flame crackles as the Dragon's roar sounds through the night. The crackle becomes a cry of joy as the Dragon breathes a breath of fire upon the Flame, adding his burning love to hers. The Flame turns into a fiery bird with a great
cry. A Phoenix has been born, and a Dragon has grown in the fires of love. This bond forged is stronger than steel, stronger than the very foundations of the earth.
Nothing and no one can break this love. The love of the Dragon and the Phoenix will live beyond the end of time, their hearts forever entwined. Purpose has been found, the balance formed by the Dragon and Phoenix that awakened them is their purpose. The love they share forever is a shining light for all who despair; the Dragon and Phoenix are smiled upon by the Creator for they are what he intended love between two to be.

The Dragon and the Phoenix (version two) :
The Tiger lies in a mist, shrouded in mystery.
Who is she, what is her purpose?
The Dragon lies upon a cloud, covered by time.
Who is he, what is his purpose?
The cloud and Dragon descend into the mist as the moon rises, meshing together.
The Tiger prowls through cloud and mist; the Dragon growls, wary of this new creature in his midst.
Startled by the new noise in her domain the Tiger hisses and tenses.Silver eyes meet those of green, stillness ensues.
'Why does it not attack, this beast of the forest? ' he thinks.
'Will this being from the skies run or strike? ' she thinks.
The Dragon becomes stone still, waiting, for what he knows not.
'Does this armored creature of flight even live? ' she wonders.
The Tiger slowly lays a paw against the Dragon's scaly hide, sparks of blue fly from the point of contact, the Tiger jumps back with a howl of surprise. 'What is this magic? ! ' she cries.
The Dragon's face becomes filled with the expression of joy 'Yin! ' cries he. The Tiger freezes in shock 'Yang? At last, we can be one once again! '
The Dragon drew a great breath and breathed the fires of his love unto the Tiger, from her ashes arose a mighty Phoenix.. A great cry of joy sounded through the night, a cry of joy: 'Forever one are we! Together in the skies for all eternity shall we be! '

The Woods Of Westermain

I

Enter these enchanted woods,
You who dare.
Nothing harms beneath the leaves
More than waves a swimmer cleaves.
Toss your heart up with the lark,
Foot at peace with mouse and worm,
Fair you fare.
Only at a dread of dark
Quaver, and they quit their form:
Thousand eyeballs under hoods
Have you by the hair.
Enter these enchanted woods,
You who dare.

II

Here the snake across your path
Stretches in his golden bath:
Mossy-footed squirrels leap
Soft as winnowing plumes of Sleep:
Yaffles on a chuckle skim
Low to laugh from branches dim:
Up the pine, where sits the star,
Rattles deep the moth-winged jar.
Each has business of his own;
But should you distrust a tone,
Then beware.
Shudder all the haunted roods,
All the eyeballs under hoods
Shroud you in their glare.
Enter these enchanted woods,
You who dare.

III

Open hither, open hence,
Scarce a bramble weaves a fence,
Where the strawberry runs red,
With white star-flower overhead;
Cumbered by dry twig and cone,
Shredded husks of seedlings flown,
Mine of mole and spotted flint:
Of dire wizardry no hint,
Save mayhap the print that shows
Hasty outward-tripping toes,
Heels to terror on the mould.

Experimental Film

The color of infinity
Inside an empty glass
I'm squinting my eye
And turning off and on and on
and off the light
It's for this experimental film
Which nobody knows about and which
I'm still figuring out what's going to go
In my experimental film
Yeah, you're all gonna be in this experimental film
And even though I can't explain it
I already know how great it's
I already know the ending
It's the part that makes your face implode
I don't know what makes your face implode
But that's the way the movie ends
And in my experimental film
Which nobody knows about but which
I'm still figuring out your face implodes
At my experimental film
Yeah, you're all gonna be in this experimental film
And even though I can't explain it
I already know how great it--
Even though I can't explain it
I already know how great it's
The color of infinity
Inside an empty glass
It's for this experimental film
Which nobody knows about and which
I'm still figuring out what's going to go
In my experimental film
Yeah, you're all gonna be in this experimental film
And even though I can't explain it
I already know how great it's gonna--
Yeah, you're gonna be in this experimental film
And even though I can't explain it
I already know how great it--
Even though I can't explain it
I already know how great it's
