I am not Emo

This 'Thing' About Time

I have this 'thing' about time.
And those who express,
Time for them is meaningless.

It is like having a discussion about discipline.
And many can intellectualize it...
But the act of it is too distant for them.

Being on time some define,
Is stated for the purpose to be on it and not late.
Others will take it and waste it as they see fit.
Not arriving before or on time at all.
Just to have another irritated losing patience...
Awaiting to hear an excuse someone makes.

I have this 'thing' about time.
And those who express,
Time for them is meaningless.

It is like having a discussion about discipline.
And many can intellectualize it...
But the act of it is too distant for them.

And long past the hour,
Someone appears in an atmosphere...
That by the minute is getting sour.

And more time is spent,
Listening to inventive excuses...
Describing why they had not called,
To apologize at all.

I have this 'thing' about time.
And those who express,
Time for them is meaningless.
With no sign of respect...
To the one that is questioned,
Why is it they seem to be quite upset!

Trusting, Obeying And Acting

Trusting, obeying and acting for us, are vital needs to follow Jesus,
Trusting God with this very life, as we follow our Lord, Jesus Christ,
Obeying the living Word of God, as Christ leads, with staff and rod,
Acting upon our belief and faith, while guided by His Spirit of Grace.

Trusting the Lord in all that He does, as believers, is essential for us;
We must trust God, day to day, through whatever He brings our way,
While God works out His larger Plan, to reach the heart of each man;
Trusting Christ in all that we do, as God Himself shall see us through.

Obeying God daily, through His Word, He will see that all have heard,
The Glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ, as He sows His Truth in our life,
Through obedience to God’s Son, God will use us to reach everyone,
With the Truth of God’s Salvation, as we preach Truth to every nation.

Acting on our Faith for The Lord, The Holy Spirit must not be ignored,
For The Spirit is the Power of God, as we witness on this earthly sod,
Reaching out to the end of the earth, sharing with men a second birth,
Acting on our faith to reach all men, that they too, can be Born Again.

We trust in The Lord over all, Who rules over all men, great and small,
Obeying the One, Who died for us, our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus,
As we act on God’s Word in our life, to be for Christ a living sacrifice,
To bring to every man and nation, the Good News of God’s Salvation.

Futile funeral
Full of feverish people
wanting out of the doors
Don't want to deal with their ever increasing sores
'What's the point? ' They ask
All in their masks
Drinking from their flasks
Trying to drink away the pain
Acting like they care
Acting like they have good thoughts to share
They just want to leave
And let that body rot
In the ground of the others that have been forgot
What a pity

The Happy Family

playing the role of the happy family,
acting carefully like a perfect family,
putting a lie,
in everyone's eye,
making promises that can't be broken,
putting smiles that can't be taken,
feeling bad and not happy,
but being good at acting happy.

playing the role of the happy family,
father, mother, sister and brother,
but none of them bothers,
everyone is all alone.
talking in a different phone,
talking with a different language,
eating at the same table everyday,
acting happy by every way,

playing the role of the happy family
but there is always the quite,
for every single day and night.
wearing a faked smile,
letting between each one of them, a mile
watching together the television,
but each one is seeing it from his vision,
trying to love and care,
but they can't even share,
each one is in adifferent place.
wearing a big mask on his or her face
a mask of a big smile like a clown,
as all of them are living in a different town,

but still playing the role of the happy family,
still acting like a happy family
still wanting to make us believe that they are a family.

To intellectualize a decadence meant to market,
With an enforcement of its acceptance...
Says a lot about those who value their way of life,
And self righteous standards that are on a fast decline.

Yet those who are restrictive in mindsets limited,
With an infliction of their policies of censorship that exist...
Seem less serious than foolish.

Like a tree that sits...
To be observed and taken for granted.
I am here.
Not to intellectualize my emotions.
But to feel them as experienced.

Not to convince!
But to know that they exist.
Whether you see them exposed bared.
Or not!
Or whether I keep them within.
They do not stop.

I live to feel every one of them!

A nonthreatening reverence,
Is encouraged with support...
Much quicker.
Without hesitation.

It's More Than Something You Can Intellectualize

There's a lot more to caring than knowing

You can 'know' you care

But that really isn't fair
If your actions don't match
The attitude of caring

Caring is more than something you can think about
You can't be compassionate and ignore a need

Where is compassion?

If it's so much more, what is it that we have?
