And I wonder when Congress will allow public nationwide schools...

Those Who Annoint Themselves Qualified

What institutions do you have left,
That are steadfast and valid?

Hmmm,
Well...
The only ones that seem,
To have stood the test of time...
Are your 'mental institutions'.
However...
I do question their validity.

Since those who annoint themselves qualified,
To determine 'who' has mental issues...
Are the very ones responsible for the cause.
Happening at such alarming rates.

And I am glad you have asked me that question.

It just occurred to me...
Those who annoint themselves qualified,

Do so to keep themselves employed.
And...
Advocated for reasons why additional funding is needed,
To keep rehabilitation programs updated.
With the hiring of more qualified personnel a recommendation.

Much malice, mingled with a little wit,
Perhaps may censure this mysterious writ;
Because the muse has peopled Caledon
With panthers, bears, and wolves, and beasts unknown,
As if we were not stocked with monsters of our own.
Let Æsop answer, who has set to view
Such kinds as Greece and Phrygia never knew;
And Mother Hubbard, in her homely dress,
Has sharply blamed a British lioness;
That queen, whose feast the factious rabble keep,
Exposed obscenely naked, and asleep.
Led by those great examples, may not I
The wonted organs of their words supply?
If men transact like brutes, 'tis equal then
For brutes to claim the privilege of men.
Others our Hind of folly will indite,
To entertain a dangerous guest by night.
Let those remember, that she cannot die,
Till rolling time is lost in round eternity;
Nor need she fear the Panther, though untamed,

The Boy and the Teacher

Teacher, teacher, 'why is my gram parent going to have to go to a nursing home? '

'Well', says the teacher in disgust. 'The republicans(Defenders of the rich) won't allow the raise of the government budget ceiling(The Amount Of Money That The Government Can Borrow.) they don't want to raise taxes on the job creators(Corporations..). But they want taxes on the workers and cuts in government funded programs to equal the new budget. The Democrats(The Ones Who Believe Our Country Should Be A Nanny State) . Don't want to make the cuts in certain government programs or raise taxes on the poor and want to raise the budget ceiling without paying for it.'

The little boy says 'That don't sound that complicated. Why don't we just tax everyone across the board, according the money they make and have. And Why don't we make cuts in programs that are not necessary. Oh and while were at it why don't we bring back our military slowly. So were not spending 60 billion dollars month in other countries. Why do we have to police other countries? Or even a better question how can we afford too when our debt is so high? '

The teacher responds back, why don't you write your congressmen, senators, and president letters and ask them.

The little boys says, 'Easy they would never read them.'

The teacher a little annoyed says, 'You got answer for everything. And I thought I was the teacher.'

The little boy chirps, 'your darn tooting'.

A look at the state of education in our society today or The New 3 R's Of TodayLearning, Education, and School

Learning, Education, and School

Many years ago, education was much simpler, or so it seemed!
You had the Three R’s, a red brick school house, and it was clean!
Then we added courses like Latin and Greek- of how awful- hard to speak,
Never fear, let us add courses that will help art, shop and Home Ec- for something to eat.

That’s right, food for thought,
After all isn’t that is what school is all about.
For forty plus years we followed that rule,
We cooked up a great education until finally in the end we listened to the political correctness fools

We discarded the ingredients that made our school great only to add new programs and policies which promote racism and hate..
What happened to our vocational programs, places where we taught our students trades,
What happened to learning work as part of the dignity of man?
What happened to learning is easy to see, instead of learning correctly,
We are learning to fail because we are failing to read,
Sstudents are porous and need to be reached.

Essays, standard tests, and computer programs are great, but can they replace touch of loving parents?
Listen to me, just a cry in the dark, it’s not our schools that are falling apart.
We have lost our direction and maybe our focus.

For you see it not your test score that count one, two, and three
It simply must be the students who learn their A, B, and C’s
They apply what they learn, not with paper and pen,
but with hands, hearts, and mind and souls.
So we can all learn to live together happily once and again.

I feared the death through assassin’s bullet
I too was aware that people may soon forget
I thought to make my wish open in public
I was strongly in opposition to turn into relic

I wished to be buried under the grave
I am weak but still very brave
What I miss and what I have?
I want to return everything they gave

I was down to earth and remained among them
They praised at every time like gem
How can I forget their love and affection?
They remained calm an d at peace without any reaction

What is my contribution to their cause?
Absolutely nothing except their feeling to rouse
Trim them to face any eventuality in crisis
This was the only reason and basis

I was loved by them as next to incarnation
What was so unique in me for such observation?
As it happens in all the cases, it was just trust
It was to be reciprocated and was essentially must

I am not any dignitary or heavenly placed person
There can be many or unseen reasons
What actually seen was their undisputed affection?
I had nothing to do with my logic or action

Now a days that cares for departed soul?
Many heads parish in oblivion and role
No one takes slight notice or note of it
You must think and take decision when you are fit

I am ordinary human being surrounded by mere facts
I have no special quality or worthwhile tact
It was all alone a single asset and reserve
People thought I was the person to deserve

I never wished my ashes to be immersed in holy rivers
Many had thought it to happen with strong fervor
I wished them all success in life but refused to create even cemetery
Why all big people or dignitaries preferred running commentary?

Many advocated my ashes to be thrown from mid air to ground
Some strong attachment was believed to be found
It was believed that by doing so I shall remain close to soil
The sentiment was running high and continued to boil

Only One Religion

What was I fed to believe?
Confine to one religion and live
Believe one God and consider none
Yet I believed there was invisible someone

I traditionally learnt all aspects
It did not teach for any disrespect
Almost all advocated for noble acts
Tolerance to all and respect to facts

At no stage something came out as critical
Almost all views shared were identical
“Love and let others live” was suited as ideal
The message was well conveyed and seemed real

As a child when I turned round to acknowledge
I was bewildered at different stories and failed to manage
Why so many faiths on earth to obey his existence?
When it was a universal line and read as sentence!

Well, I believed divine power had descended on earth
But all had one thing in common … fate with death
They did their job for us and departed
Only we drew lines separately and parted

Neither I would not want some one teach
Not would I expect them in any way to preach
As path to salvation is known or within reach
Only true vision or some thing else is needed to search

Let us believe in two side theory
It is not a blind faith or simple story
It is known fact and not any illusion
We must recognize divine power without any confusion

I would rather bow my head to all directions
Wait for good message to reach for peaceful actions
Let any God guide their faith for world peace
Grant all human beings a way to live with ease

Pale are my looks, forsaken of my life,
Cinders my bones, consume'd with thy flame,
Floods are my tears, to end this burning strife,

Grinding Slowly

I will never understand...
A mind closed off,
And afraid of challenges.
One that accepts,
And sees life the way it is!

Even though the way it is,
Shouldn't be that way at all.
If a point of view introduced...
Is not what the 'crowd' selects?
Mindsets become trapped.
And a growth becomes stalled.

I see an increase of regret on faces.
I see a reality that comes to them all!
I see a lifestyle that decreases immensely.
And I see an absence of acknowledging...
Their way of life and how it's lived,
Grinds slowly to a fall!

I wish I could remove deceptions,
From the eyes and minds of some.
They could influence those they knew...
Of a consciousness,
With a higher awareness that comes to everyone!

They would understand mankind can demand,
An ending to things by taking a stand!
But a conformity that has been fed on greed...
