Against Stale Current

Essential is it to unite
to pressing questions answers which
may open roads to knowledge, might
prepare fulfillment shared and rich.

Unused to being understood,
his insight into others bores,
the trees he sees, ignores not wood
nor would - for blinkers he abhors.

A sense of purpose has withstood
positions frozen, - chosen doors
open on mission, inner good
opposing pride and rotten cores.

Against stale 'current', with hale stream
of light and life he'd soar serene,
is it surprising that such gleam
untouched remains, unshared.

Lonely One Wanders
Lonely, one wanders through cowed crowd,
awaiting some supportive rays,
with warmth, complicity endowed -
beamed circlet lighthouse dream replays.
Absent present, head in cloud,
through surface calm true strength displays
both strong emotions, soul unbowed,
balm soothing offers, hope relays.

One threads paths strange, by most unploughed,
transforming fallow fields in ways
astonishing to assets vowed
as fertile, fruitfulness which stays
abundant, want, waste disavowed.
Prosperity which rich repays
time, trouble, taken, cries aloud
for friendship solitude allays.

Perception, seldom understood,
with insight into others bores,
trees, wood unsawed seen, both bad, good,
subjective blinkers lack bed, board.
Enlightenment misdeeds withstood,
to ploughshare turns destructive sword,
should’s soon converted into would,
hermit crabbiness abhorred.

The love that I found defined in me.
Reduced all the fantasies,
I kept deceived.
When I saw you,
That moment I knew...
Mixed reactions disappeared.
I felt a deepness clearing and near,
Flowing to bestow...
Upon me.

Removed all desires to be free.
You held the key,
To unlock that need in me...

Molded Goals

Give me my right to have a life of variety.
With a choice I decide in my mind,
Who and what I will be as I define.

People live to breathe in sequels.
And leeching to squeeze,
From an opportunistic vision.
But too afraid to plant their own footsteps,
If others are not pleased.

People are not free,
Or encouraged to be themselves.
And directed from their births,
To seek acceptance...
From others who have molded goals,
And know what is perfectness.

Give me my right to have a life of variety.

Those with Goals Know

If one's only ambition,
Is to go to college...
Just to say one goes to a school,
May not be for one as advantageous...
As that goal focused upon,
By one who is determined...
With a sticking to it as is pursued?

Perhaps!
If this direction...
Has been thoughtfully mapped,
One undecided...
Can escape from extracurricular traps.

Perhaps!
If one has an agenda,
To a dream that has been attached.
One can party throughout college life,
Without worrying how or to whom...
To pay this expense back.

Those people,
With a 'Cry Me a River' approach to life...
And believe that a catching up on time,
Will extend their daylight...
May have waited a few minutes too late,
To open the gate.
With a belayed working towards that high paying job,
That has as of today...
Been erased from the landscapes from wherever,
These visions and dreams have been portrayed.

Since those with goals know,
A sacrificing is what it takes.
Since those with goals know,
A prerequisite to obtain an image...
A lecturing done,
Will not produce those lucky breaks.

Those with goals know,
Staying devoted requires discipline.
Since those with goals know,
A motivation isn't teachable.
Nor will a feeding of an unending feast,
Degreed by an education...
Guarantees anyone,
They can choose and select...
Exactly what to eat.

Symbiotic Symphony

Slim beauty, fair hair sun-bright cloud
about her billows, surface calm
masks deep emotions, soul uncowed,
search newly blessed by soothing balm.
She wandered, lonely, through the crowd,
observing all, yet often seemed
both close and distant, head unbowed,
epitome of dreams she’d dreamed.

Sweet symbiotic symphony
awaiting liberating call,
preparing serendipity,
would nonetheless retain high wall
until discovering within
an infinite capacity
for stretching wings devoid of sin,
freed from former opacity.

Perpetual priority
protecting family until
each child - Ambre, Axel, Alice and Camille -
could thread autonomy and will
to flourish confident and be
emancipate - though never still -
from ignorance, fatuity.

Priority number two: to join
to present questions answers which
might mint fresh happiness' bright coin
a future fair, shared feelings rich
that none could question, none purloin,
an idyll oasis to stitch
nest nurturing til kids conjoin.

Deceptive calm! Her mind must try
to comprehend and then translate,
so children share, none e’er run shy
of fighting prejudice and hate.
Though world be harsh, though time swift fly,
empowered troupe she'd teach instate
an energy none misapply
true joy, fresh focus liberate.

Mistrusting superfluity
she scans horizons far beyond
face values, gilt annuity,
both mass hysteria, mass despond.
With natural ingenuity
imagination's magic wand
ingenuous spells melody

What Are My Goals?

What are my goals?
You mean...
Like those 'things' I wish to accomplish?

'Yes.
You must have made some by now.'

Well...
The ones I made yesterday,
I've already met.
I did make some this afternoon.
But they've been achieved,
To allow me to rest.
And those I've made for tomorrow...
I am putting now to the test.

'Okay so your goals are...
Can you be more specific,
Than that? '

I'm doing the best I can.
And 'if' I get too specific...
They've would have changed,
Before I can get the word 'completed'...
Out of my mouth.

I know this may be an inconvenience,
But...
Is it possible you could come back,
In a few weeks.
By then I should have a list,
Of my more recent goals accomplished for you.

It's too difficult for me to set goals.
I hate to discuss the process.
That's too time consuming.
I'd rather do and let it be.
You understand that don't you?
Of course you do.
I see it in your eyes!

Poem Title: The Relationship of Likeness and Unlikeness
Acrostic Poem 158

The Relationship of Likeness and Unlikeness.
Herbert Spencer was Guided once upon a time to write.
Establishments within the Universe Intelligence to move forward.

Relationships 'twixt the kinds of most perfect quantitative reasoning.
Equality by simple reason proving once to be, under its highest form.
Likeness of mind, of comparison through experience, by progressive wisdom.
Attention to each and every detail, coloured red or blue or green or any hue.
To Listen for a note that's not in tune, a rhyme that's not rhyme, a face not recognised.
In comparison between the likeness or unlikeness, where do we have to draw the line?
On one side we have a pass, on the other failure, what do we carry, what do we just ignore?
Now accepting the improbable, descending step by step to the lower levels of simple reasoning.
Space, Time, and Motion present themselves as a consistent trio of essential attributes.
Having Equivalence of certain states of Conciousness both serial and simultaneous.
In things that cannot be truly defined except in terms more general than themselves.
Perceived as Likeness and Unlikeness in terms to exhibit them as necessary complements.

Of each other? Let me explain. It`s best shown by comparing the relations of the two together.
For Likeness is best shown by contrast with Unlikeness as with a Flash of something Like.

Lightning, yes When a flash of Lightning for a moment dispels the Darkness
In where, when any one state of Conciousness is supplanted by another.
Knowing immediately there has been an established relationship of Unlikeness.
Established in comparison to the Darkness or of that crystal silver light.
Notice thus, then the relationship of Unlikeness is the primordial one.
Examine, is the relation in every other relation; and can itself ever be described?
Summarized in no other way than as a simple change in mind Conciousness.
Space and Time and Motion or Resistance Magnified by your true belief in GOD.

And of Higher Orders of Relations? Are severally resolvable into relations of like and unlike.?
Now who`s terms have certain specialities and complexities, where similarity was defined?
Defined as the coin tension of two con natural relations between states of consciousness.

Unlike in degree but like in kind, but coin tension we find to be just likeness in degree.
Now please try to understand my meaning, Man, Hear what I'm saying, like what I mean?
Like ness or Unlikeness the difference between Fire and Ice, Love and Hate
In between the two we can have of course coexistence, exactly alike in kind and degree.
Kinds of conciousness and states of conciousness but commonly unlike in any degree.
Echo across a valley unsustainable, or a sustained note from a wind or a stringed instrument.
Now may be interrupted by some scarcely appreciable flaw which simply serves to divide,
Exactly into two notes that sound exactly alike, Drinks of equal temperature Celsius
Slowly Love can drift into Hate linger until reality dawns then rise to an even higher state.
States of mind can be altered to comply Nearer My GOD to Thee. Meditation is the sacred Key.

It was the dawn of a new day
The bright orange sun was shining my way.
The sky was a beautiful light blue
The only thing missing “ was you”.

My day cannot begin if you’re not there
That beautiful smile with me you share.
So many things in my life that you inspire
And made me set my goals even higher.

You told me that there is nothing in life
That I can’t do- set your goals and follow thru.

Because of you all my goals except for one
Has been met.
Winning your heart I still must get.

Success has no I

Those who feel that personal success is the ultimate goal
Shallow is their pool
Success is a requirement for all who attain life on this earth
True success only comes when you have helped others
Reach their goals, successes, and roles

When all you care about are your own goals, nobody around you grows
You become shallow the deeper you go, until you have
Buried yourself in your own success and drowned yourself with nothingness

You may eventually reach your goals of success but
Beware, for you have allowed none to help or assist
To brag to one who knows not the road is pompous and brash, the sign of an ass

Those who remain to hear of your rules and reigns are
The few who enjoy the entertainment and delight of one who gives off no light

All should delight in their plight,
If they continue towards success with an army of leaders, helpers and soldiers
Driving them, helping them, and protecting them from the rest
In the end not one rules and reigns
All rule, reign, and act as a light for the rest to continue their flight

Success has no I…no matter how hard you try

There's no-one coming with that freedom train.
There's nowhere you can go where you feel no pain.
Take the blinkers off you eye's,
The power's in your hand;
Stop waiting for your ticket to the promised land.

Help

Angels come in many guises.
Different shapes and different sizes,
concealed by their odd disguises.
Angels manage to surprise us.
Sometimes we do not recognise
because of blinkers on our eyes
or the dark clouds that fill our skies.
The title angel still applies.
To those that lend a helping hand
or only try to understand.
The problems which seem to demand
resources which we can’t command..

How do you tell the sky to stop being blue?
How do you tell the plants to stop growing?
How do you tell the sun to stop shining
Tell the planets to stop moving?
How do you stop what has already begun?
How do you take the blinkers off one who hangs on to them so?

Why does she want to stop nature

What nature is does not need to stop
