I Keep Focused
Whether I am on your list...
Or do not make an appearance at all.
Guest what?
Not a footprint on this path I have made,
Belongs to anyone else....
Who can claim a doing with little assistance.
I keep focused!
And guest what...?
You can compare me to anyone you please.
But I have never been impressed,
By your ability to stretch an imagination.
Why?
I keep focused!
And I try...
To stay focused.
And I choose not to guess how or when...
You have managed to do what you've done,
Without sweat or eyes dried,
As if a tear you have never cried.
Why?
I keep focused!
And I try...
To stay focused.
But I do believe the path you have chosen,
Has been repaved over so many times,
As to accomodate those who have found their way to go...
Much easier than the one I pioneered.
And I know it shows,
I am focused.
And I try...
To stay focused.
Yes I try...
To stay focused.
Whether I am on your list...
Or do not make an appearance at all.
Guest what?

Einstein and Society
Much of what Einstein had to say
remains unexplained
100 years later,
in terms of impact his ideas have on society.
First, we need to comprehend
he sought
to explain everything.
We know the familiar E=mc2;
what does it really mean?
Astounding at the time
but now common place;
the idea states that energy and matter interrelate;
and matter can be changed to energy and vice versa.
What's not understood well
by many is
that matter
in being transformed to energy
has a exponential multiplier.
For example a ball dropped from two feet
lands with 10 times the force of a ball
dropped from one foot.
Why?
Dense Uranium 235 has many many electrons
and matter released into energy has a mulitiplier effect
with interactive transmutation
and in the end
gives us the Atomic Bomb
which of course
draws us one step nearer the end.
But note,
the other little understood fact here-;
An atomic explosion is not matter expanding
but space itself multiplying!
Not stretching-growing;
New Space!
But how is this?
Space, hence, time is malleable.
Einstein Two;
If space itself expands then what about light?
This is where Einstein started.

Hieroglyphic Beguile Meant
HIEROGLYPHIC BEGUILE...MEANT
I sought inspiring way to play “beguile”
blood's flood rush-blushing flush, then hibernate,
lush, hid ‘mid hieroglyphics of soft smile.
It dawned that very few can reconcile
emotions' brakes while breaking conscious state,
to draw more definitions for “beguile”.
Most, blind behind closed minds, can’t conjugate
dimensions manifold, unfold, translate,
decypher hieroglyphics of soft smile.
It takes so many lifetimes to compile
right signals light, bright eyes communicate
decoding definitions for “beguile”
into word worlds both varied, versatile,
deep, difficult to truly contemplate -
expanding hieroglyphics of soft smile.
Content observing content, context, style,
expressive inner eyes deliberate,
a worthwhile definition for “beguile”,
hidden in hieroglyphics of soft smile.
There are two definitions for “beguile”
one shares, one snares love, fair disguising hate -
what’s truth mid hieroglyphics of Your smile?
What if snare scare replaced rare care to dial
confusion more than loving fusion’s state,
refusal, ersatz aura ringed by rile?
What if those hieroglyphics hid heart vile,
whose slyness surface smiles would compensate
with blushing rushes should “beguile” prove guile.
What would remain of love’s fair sceptered isle?
Who could clear conscience e’er exonerate
from name of blame whose fame would flame defile,
mark Lethe dark, where no stark hopes beguile
lost soul, shade forfeit, damned, banned, intestate
parody pornographic, mercantile.
True torment, false beguilement takes to trial,
ensures despair, bare cell disconsolate,
Cupid's gilt arrows dipped in venom vile -
envy, greed, to feed perversions' weight
with appetites that needs exaggerate,
deform, intentions turned from narrow, straight,
to swift descent from paradise exile,
sharp fall before dupe hieroglyphic smile! ...

Sci-fi
I'm into sci-fi (sci-fi, sci-fi),
I'm into sci-fi UFO,
I think that I spy (I spy, I spy),
That where I go,
The force will go,
But these opinions,
I keep to myself,
I leave my Asimov,
Closed on the shelf.
Do you dig Einstein? (Einstein, Einstein),
Yeah, but only relatively,
Well its a fine time,
To take a bash,
At his theories,
I think a Star Wars,
Headed this way,
Well go to Mars,
We can work, rest and play.
I'm into sci-fi (sci-fi, sci-fi),
I'm into sci-fi UFO,
Its an agent from Mars,
And hes calling me from the moon,
It's there in the stars,
I've got a gig there in june.
I'm into sci-fi (sci-fi, sci-fi),
I'm into sci-fi UFO,
I think that I spy (I spy, I spy),
Alien stars on our tv shows,
But these opinions I keep to myself,
I leave my Asimov closed on the shelf.
I'm into sci-fi (sci-fi, sci-fi),
I'm into sci-fi UFO,
And to the martians I'm gonna say,
Hello hello,
I'm into sci-fi.

Nagasaki Days
I -- A Pleasant Afternoon
for Michael Brownstein and Dick Gallup
One day 3 poets and 60 ears sat under a green-striped Chau-
tauqua tent in Aurora
listening to Black spirituals, tapping their feet, appreciating
words singing by in mountain winds
on a pleasant sunny day of rest -- the wild wind blew thru
blue Heavens
filled with fluffy clouds stretched from Central City to Rocky
Flats, Plutonium sizzled in its secret bed,
hot dogs sizzled in the Lion's Club lunchwagon microwave
mouth, orangeade bubbled over in waxen cups
Traffic moved along Colefax, meditators silent in the Diamond
Castle shrine-room at Boulder followed the breath going
out of their nostrils,
Nobody could remember anything, spirits flew out of mouths
& noses, out of the sky, across Colorado plains & the
tent flapped happily open spacious & didn't fall down.

II -- Peace Protest
Cumulus clouds float across blue sky
over the white-walled Rockwell Corporation factory
-- am I going to stop that?
*
Rocky Mountains rising behind us
Denver shining in morning light
-- Led away from the crowd by police and photographers
*
Middleaged Ginsberg and Ellsberg taken down the road
to the greyhaired Sheriff's van --
But what about Einstein? What about Einstein? Hey, Einstein
Come back!
III -- Golden Courthouse
Waiting for the Judge, breathing silent
Prisoners, witnesses, Police --

Long Distance Caller
I'm a long distance caller,
Focused on your needs.
And you may not know this,
Since near you I don't sit.
I'm a long distance caller,
Here to please not tease.
And it's you I picked,
To receive this benefit.
Close your eyes,
And realize your bright side.
Don't you ever quit,
Being positive.
Just close your eyes,
And want to feel good inside.
Get rid of that hold,
To let your troubles go!
Know it's you I picked,
To receive this benefit.
Close your eyes,
And realize your bright side.
It is you I picked,
To receive this benefit.
I'm a long distance caller,
Focused on your needs.
And you may not know this,
Since near you I don't sit.
Close your eyes,
And realize your bright side.
Don't you ever quit,
Being positive.
'Hello.'
Don't you ever quit,
Being positive.
'Hello.'
Don't you ever quit,
Being positive.
Close your eyes,
To realize your bright side.
And don't you ever quit.

Comprehending Is the Key
I had the funding.
I had the opportunity.
And I wanted with them to share.
'What happened? '
I gave back the funding.
I returned the opportunity.
And I told those who supported me,
I could find no one who cared.
'So what is it that you do now? '
Stay focused.
Move forward.
And make huge investments,
In the minding of my own business.
'Aren't those the same people who say,
What is needed is commitment and unity...
In this community? '
I stay focused.
I've moved forward.
And I make huge investments,
In the minding of my own business.
'I know you heard me.'
I stay focused.
I've moved forward.
And...
'I make huge investments,
In the minding of my own business.'
I hear you.
Comprehending is the key,
To keeping one's peace of mind.

Try to compensate me with your psychological notions,
For i am virtually lipless in this game of love;
But if loving you was wrong then, i don't want to be right.
Testable! !
Like the scare of an inchoate;
But incisive as it is,
Try to compensate me with your psychological notions.

How To Be A Millionaire
Ive seen the future, I cant afford it
Tell me the truth sir, someone just bought it
Say mr. whispers! here come the click of dice
Roulette and blackjacks - gonna build us a paradise
Larger than life and twice as ugly
If we have to live there, youll have to drug me
Maybe these luxuries can only compensate
For all the cards you were dealt at the hands of fate
So tell me
Tell me! tell me! how to be a millionaire
Tell me! tell me! how to be a millionaire!
Millionaire! billionaire! trillionaire!
Hardly surprising if you might consider
Loyalties go to the highest of bidders
Whats my opinion? Id give you ten to one
Give me a million, a franchise on fun
But there are millions who often get nowhere
And theres just one secret I think you should share
Maybe these luxuries can only compensate
For all the cards you were dealt at the hands of fate
So tell me
Tell me! tell me! how to be a millionaire
Tell me! tell me! how to be a millionaire!
Who wants to be millionaire?
I do! - I dont! - I do!
Who wants to be millionaire?
I do! - I dont!
Ive seen the future and I cant afford it

Millennium Changed
Focus on the distance and you fall
Deep inside of all the memories
You choose not to recall
Don't let go
Friends are always learning
Going to get things you couldn't hold
Doesn't mean that they don't care for you
They're just moving on
Doesn't mean that they don't care for you
They're just moving on
This is just to compensate
Changes on my mind I made
Dreaming with you
But I cannot stay
All the times we had are gone
All the things and all the songs
Knew we wouldn't last forever
Nothing in this world comforts you[x2]

Cropped Apologies to Rudyard Kipling
If you can fight Monsanto’s sterile sowing,
deny blight warnings, nor fear climate change,
if cash in hand exceeds debts most's greed's owing,
if you’re the early bird with worms in range.
If you stay steady when winds may be blowing
subarctic currents shiveringly strange,
if you can soar above false walls while knowing
true sharing's bliss which cheaps deep love's exchange.
If you can fly your kite despite snow falling
avoiding kites' and kittyhawks' harsh call,
if you won't compromise with inner calling,
nor flash your feathers - pride before the fall.
If you can weather frost or luck appalling,
tail waggle far from gaggling geese, nor stall
friends' search for perch beyond the masses mawling,
refusing vested interests' greedy gall.
If you can keep your crops when all the nation
rails, vain assailing creepy crawly bugs,
If you can thrive when most lives' reputation
is knocked for skittles, stumped by snails and slugs,
If you can sow, show though you stay surrounded
by failing harvests sere upon the stem,
where hopes unfounded, speculations grounded,
face farmers who through jealousy condemn.
If greenhouse gases can't delay your planting,
with fallow Brussels' edicts all ignored,
If CO² you compensate by chanting
an incantation to the heavens poured.
If snail trails slip upon your sensor networks,
if nano tech protects fields' fullest yield
which on the Futures markets harvests net perks
which from the tax collector are concealed.
If you resist the urge to emigration,
and stand your ground around world vision wide,
if neither outside show nor occupation
contradict the worth that's found inside,
if neither dissipation, narrow nation,
priorities are held, if you abide
in peace with self, nor fear self-revelation,
your's is free flight, by day and night hopes ride.
If day by day you grow more give than taker,
remembering each offspring's offsprings, kind,
if all return to nest at rest, God's acre
in harmony despite the daily grind.
If you farm through the seasons, thanking maker

MASKED DICHOTOMIES
Masked Dichotomies
Must life's train be constrained, vain self contain,
May self-effacement ease heartache, disdain?
Must mirage rain slake lost-in-desert bane,
May dreams' ream verse bring love to life again?
Must stalking hawk-eyed hawkers grey prey, pain.
May heart's refrain touch who'd from touch refrain?
Can conversation compensate for wide
disparities between speech-reach inside
and barricades behind which hearts mask, hide,
where one greets and the other's grates abide
spite needs apparent, though those needs denied
are tantamount to self-rejection sighed.
Dichotomies between acts and attraction
can't heal heart's hurt, leave hope too little traction.

Einstein before his was EINSTEIN
a found poem in
'The Life and Times of Einstein' by Ronald Clark: page 51
'In Berne,
Einstein was another...
unobtrusively trotting
from Gerectigkeit Square to
the patent office each morning,
usually lunching at his desk,
returning to his lodings
each evening with
the orthodoxy of the city clerk,
then setting himself down
in a quiet corner to
discover the laws of nature.'

Can you tell me where I might find my friend and companion
Now he looks a little different from anything youve seen
He likes to beat the bass drum for justice and salvation
Hes got the brains of einstein and the brawn of mister clean
Hes a lightnin flash wholl make the dash from one coast to the other
To stop a crime or lend a dime or help his aging mother
Captain america we love you, captain america youre grand
Oh spiro agnew eat your heart out captain americas our man
Now he wears a mask his clothes are weird and some folks call him hokie
But he is hip he just cant dig the okie from muskogie
Captain will help anyone a friend or a stranger
Now number one without a gun hes bypassed the lone ranger
Hes a do do good who loves apple pie and kisses little babies
Hell guard you against everything from atom bombs to rabies
Captain america we love you, captain america youre grand
Oh spiro agnew eat your heart out captain americas our man
Can you tell me where I might find my friend and companion
He looks a little different from anything youve seen
He likes to beat the bass drum for justice and salvation
Hes got the brains of einstein and the bod of mister clean
Hes a lightnin flash wholl make the dash from one coast to the other

The World's Address
I know you deceived me, couldn't sleep last night
Now my tear stains on the wall reflect an ugly sight
I can see your secrets
No need to confess
Everyone looks naked when you know the world's address
The world's address
A place that's worn
A sad pun that reflects a sadder mess
I'll repeat it for those who may not have already guessed
The world's address
Life's parade of fashion just leaves me depressed
Under every garment i can see the world's address
Call the men of science and let them hear this song
Tell them albert einstein and copernicus were wrong
The world's address
A place that's worn
A sad pun that reflects a sadder mess
I'll repeat it for those who may not have already guessed
The world's address
Call the men of science and let them hear this song
Tell them albert einstein and copernicus were wrong
