But so far as countries are concerned, I don't go to a place to see what's there, but who is there.

Some writers and producers are currently writing a sitcom for me, so we'll see what happens there. I'm somewhat reluctant to talk about some of the upcoming projects that I'm working on; I've a lot of stuff on the go, including five pictures that I'm looking at producing.

As FAR AS I AM CONCERNED

I was not born
yesterday, Let me tell you that i am aware
of what i am, where i am going, what i am after of.
I do not wish to speak
for i have nothing to say
what i know of
need not be spoken anymore
it need not be known
because my words are dying
but not looking for cure.
When you ask the questions
i have long pretended that
my answers are true.
They suit you and you leave
me happy thinking that
everything is alright with me
and all of us.
Now you doubt and you
want to ask some questions
those that you have long
wanted to ask
but to please you
i always use the same
answers until you stopped
coming and asking for more.
I have no use of speech
I have found reason only
in speaking to myself
as i begin to create a friend
that i alone can trust.
This is the imagined friend
who like me does not
find talk too necessary.
I used to talk once
like a child who loves you
but you did not bother
to mind each qualm for
thirst each complaint for
hunger.
I have nothing to say
I have no prayers.
Because as far as I am concerned
I have long considered
myself finished.
When you come again
You shall know a friend of mine.
This ghost.
This emptiness that will
never fill you.
This stranger without
a traveling bag.
This silence without
a signature.
This vacant lot without
a home.

Very Few Are Concerned

Whatever it is that has come to sit in your mind,
That you find you are now ready to come to grips with...
I hope you are ready,
To grab a hold onto this fact...
People have moved on!
And very few are concerned with that!
Lessons learned,
Have put some on the right track!

The time to act is when the situation presents itself.
When it is in your face with clarity.
Not to brush to the side as if it does not exist.
That day might arrive when it opens your head,
With a consciousness you can not resist.
Like now!
When you're the only one making time for it!
When time for it has gone!

You will find no one here,
Hungering to reminisce.

Eventually We Will All Die, Feb 28th,2011

And the older you get, the closer you get to your eventual death,
And it can’t be avoided until you take your very last breath,
But dont think about it and maybe it will just go away,
Unfortunately that’s not true either but you still can’t overstay.

Your dog can get euthanasia at the vet’s and no questions asked,
He can lie down and peacefully die and no one is aghast,
But you can’t have assisted suicide or your doctor goes to jail,
They take this so serious; they might not even give him bail.

You dont read about this because it’s kept out of the press
Just like binding national referendums but did I digress?
You are not worthy of euthanasia but you dont know
As far as they are concerned, you are just a no-body, John Doe.

Television

The most important thing we've learned,
So far as children are concerned,
Is never, NEVER, NEVER let
Them near your television set --
Or better still, just don't install
The idiotic thing at all.
In almost every house we've been,
We've watched them gaping at the screen.
They loll and slop and lounge about,
And stare until their eyes pop out.
(Last week in someone's place we saw
A dozen eyeballs on the floor.)
They sit and stare and stare and sit
Until they're hypnotised by it,
Until they're absolutely drunk
With all that shocking ghastly junk.
Oh yes, we know it keeps them still,
They don't climb out the window sill,
They never fight or kick or punch,
They leave you free to cook the lunch
And wash the dishes in the sink --
But did you ever stop to think,
To wonder just exactly what
This does to your beloved tot?
IT ROTS THE SENSE IN THE HEAD!
IT KILLS IMAGINATION DEAD!
IT CLOGS AND CLUTTERS UP THE MIND!
IT MAKES A CHILD SO DULL AND BLIND
HE CAN NO LONGER UNDERSTAND
A FANTASY, A FAIRYLAND!
HIS BRAIN BECOMES AS SOFT AS CHEESE!
HIS POWERS OF THINKING RUST AND FREEZE!
HE CANNOT THINK -- HE ONLY SEES!
'All right!' you'll cry. 'All right!' you'll say,
'But if we take the set away,
What shall we do to entertain
Our darling children? Please explain!'
We'll answer this by asking you,
'What used the darling ones to do?
'How used they keep themselves contented
Before this monster was invented?'
Have you forgotten? Don't you know?
We'll say it very loud and slow:
THEY ... USED ... TO ... READ! They'd READ and READ,
AND READ and READ, and then proceed
To READ some more. Great Scott! Gadzooks!
One half their lives was reading books!
The nursery shelves held books galore!
Books cluttered up the nursery floor!
And in the bedroom, by the bed,
More books were waiting to be read!
Such wondrous, fine, fantastic tales
Of dragons, gypsies, queens, and whales
And treasure isles, and distant shores
Where smugglers rowed with muffled oars,
And pirates wearing purple pants,
And sailing ships and elephants,
And cannibals crouching 'round the pot,
Stirring away at something hot.
(It smells so good, what can it be?
Good gracious, it's Penelope.)
The younger ones had Beatrix Potter
With Mr. Tod, the dirty rotter,
And Squirrel Nutkin, Pigling Bland,
And Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle and-
Just How The Camel Got His Hump,
And How the Monkey Lost His Rump,
And Mr. Toad, and bless my soul,
There's Mr. Rat and Mr. Mole-
Oh, books, what books they used to know,
Those children living long ago!
So please, oh please, we beg, we pray,
Go throw your TV set away,
And in its place you can install
A lovely bookshelf on the wall.
Then fill the shelves with lots of books,
Ignoring all the dirty looks,
The screams and yells, the bites and kicks,
And children hitting you with sticks-
Fear not, because we promise you
That, in about a week or two
Of having nothing else to do,
They'll now begin to feel the need
Of having something to read.
And once they start -- oh boy, oh boy!
You watch the slowly growing joy
That fills their hearts. They'll grow so keen
They'll wonder what they'd ever seen
In that ridiculous machine,
That nauseating, foul, unclean,
Repulsive television screen!
And later, each and every kid
Will love you more for what you did.

And They Will

There are some people
who can fit in wherever they go.
They look at everyone
under one gaze,
never separating anyone
because of the colour of their skin
or how much money they have.
As far as they are concerned,
everyone is equal
under the eyes of God.

These people walk through this world
making friends of everyone they meet.
Their thinking is
love thy neighbour
no matter who they are
or what colour they are.
Love them like
a brother or sister
and they will do
the same to thee.

But who knows?

We are scared about nuclear bombs,
chemical and biological weapons
but live as if man
have got to give account only to himself
and through knowledge and science
are like gods on this earth

and every passion, every pleasure,
every sinful thing and materialism
is being pursued in rebellion
and somehow love has disappeared
and we do not grant anybody
the freedom to make a life
and claim resources with military might
as if we even dare the almighty God,

but who knows
somewhere in space the almighty One
takes his Godly decision
and man’s last days are measured out

and a big asteroid, comet, planet,
quasar, neutron star, nova, pulsar, red giant
or even our own sun or moon glides
with speed from its set course
and hits this earth
with a hell of a flaming ball
causing it to disappear out of the universe.

Hug me, please...

Please hug me, I like to feel your warmth,
addressing me with words of love and affection,
giving me the best of the world,
as far as you are concerned,
Looking at me lovingly with your eyes,
that are perfectly colored as your dress,
beautiful dresses that you wear to work,
you really look pretty and beautiful.
the long nails that you have,
sometimes scratch me,
the ornaments that you wear,
poke my face and body,
when you bend to show your love.
Mummy I am your child, please take me,
hug me, play with me and teach me,
the meaning for love,
how mummy birds bring the worms in their beaks,
to their baby birds through out morn,
and at the evening, merrily and happily.
No birds let their babies to be bird sit,
No animal let their young to suffer in cold,
they always hug their babies,
and their babies roll on their mothers.
I will not spoil your dress and make up,
please hug me mummy, I am your child,
You can put multiple layers of diapers,
and I would like to wear the heavy guard,
for your love mummy, only for the hug,
Please hug me, I am your baby, mummy.
I will not soil your blouse mummy.
I will not soil your shirt, Daddy..

3rd World Mentality

maybe
it's my '3rd world' mentality
that makes me of aware of 'nuclear education'
being the best mode of American travel
and not a Iranian Camel
pertaining to remaining alive
beyond 6 Egyptian days
in a 3rd world country
miles away from Israel's border.

i sit in my 3rd world country
and i'm no longer left to wonder
why i'm taken for granted
and why so many nuclear countries
are concerned about what
'weapons of mass destruction'
am i cookin' with propane
in the desert
when so many missiles
are pointed and threatening me
with turning the sands into glass
from the 'desert storm'
of their first strike.

how many warning signs do i need? ? ?

when i know i have enemies
that plan my destruction
and find me distasteful to live with
(who are not even my neighbors)
as others who hate
preach & cheerlead my demise
plan to feed my 3rd world country
with a un-healthy diet of violence
my neighbor Iraq now feeds on
as soon as
my 'nuclear education' is near completion.

as i prepare for the situation to get worse
i tell my countrymen
mutual destruction
guarantees some form of fair fight
no matter who delivers the first nuclear blow
and the only 'question' to peace… is war
when the bully threathens to 'air-mail'
something 'holocaust' nasty
and one is 'forced' to answer back
with something a bit more uglier
and globally warmed over
from the sands of Iran...
when they do.

Stories of.....

Courageous and fearful
are two similar things
though one has the spirit
to see what “action” brings.
Both of them are scared
theres no denying that,
its’s just that one is controlled
and one beats it right back

Now this one may be killed,
maimed, or disabled
Though who is the “hero”
when you’re reading the fable?
It’s the hero whos brave,
while the coward stay back.
It’s our hero who prevails
and often attacks
these monsters of evil,
these beings of harm.
And it’s often the coward
who raises alarm,
to summon the heroes
to come in good speed
While the hero prevails,
courageous is he!
And he will return
to good women, good will,
ro glory and riches............
unless he gets killed.

The decision is yours,
not that of the writer.
Do you run from this witch
or turn around to fight her?
Do you return to “glory”
and the respect of many
or were you hiding from courage
and never received any?

The story is yours,
you can write your own book.
You can fashion your hero
by the chances he took.
Or you can hold back
and stay well and alive.
While they looked for trouble,
you looked to hide.

But in all fairness,
many stories are told
of cowards who hid,
and grew rich and grew old.
And those cowards died
a nice, peaceful death,
dying in their beds
far from dragon’s breath.

So after writing this,
to be a fearing or courageous guy
ultimately lies in
how you’re looking to die. .
