Hate And Dislike

Hate and dislike are not the same thing between them the difference is great
We well may not like everybody but our dislike should not give way to hate
For hatred leads people to bad crimes since hatred as a feeling is very intense
The feeling of hatred is noxious and is poison to common sense.

Some commit murder due to hatred and than murder there is no worse a crime
Their hatred has landed them in prison for to serve a lengthy span of jail time
Their life it is ruined forever and darkness envelopes their soul
Suppose that is what's bound to happen when hatred is out of control.

Hate and dislike are two different creatures and though dislike to hatred can grow
Hate in it has got far more venom those who hate mercy will not show
Whilst those who dislike you may not harm you at least not in a physical way
And if you asked me to choose between them I would choose dislike any day.

The Mysteries Of Love

All I want is you, dont you know that
Forever loving you, dont you know that its true
Im leaving you tonight but dont listen if they say
That well never meet again in the land of make believe
We cannot lose the race, breaking the secret spells
They put on us, my love
Were far out of their reach, a million years ahead
They never understand the mysteries of love
Heres the mysteries of love
Give your body to the mysteries
Tear down your uniforms
Heres the mysteries of love
All I want to be, dont you know it
All we wanna be is free like the birds of the sea
We kiss the last good byes and are sailing with a smile
cross the iron borderline that butterflies despise
We cannot lose at all
Breaking the secret spells they put on us, my love
Forever out of reach, a million dreams ahead
Theyll never understand
The mysteries of love

I Save My Passions

I don't dislike you with a passion.
I just dislike you.

I save my passions,
For more worthy events that benefit.

Some people talk,
From both sides of their mouths.
In the belief they are providing comic relief.

I see this as a distasteful embellishment.
At someone's expense...
Who is believed not to know the cost of it.

I don't dislike you with a passion.
I just dislike you.

I save my passions,
For more worthy events that benefit.

On Fire

Tell you where you need to go
Tell you who you need to be
Tell you what you need to know
Tell you when youll need to leave
But everything inside you knows
Says more than what youve heard
So much more than empty conversations
Filled with empty words
Chorus:
And youre on fire
When hes near you
Youre on fire
When he speaks
Youre on fire
Burning at these mysteries
Give me one more time around
Give me one more chance to see
Give me everything you are
Give me one more chance to be... (near you)
Cause everything inside looks like
Everything I hate
You are the hope I have for change
You are the only chance Ill take
Chorus:
When Im on fire
When youre near me
Im on fire
When you speak
And Im on fire
Burning at these mysteries
These mysteries...
Im standing on the edge of me (x3)
Im standing on the edge
Chorus:
And Im on fire
When youre near you
Im on fire
When you speak
(yea) Im on fire
Burning at these mysteries...

Mysteries Revealed

Mysteries that men have heard, are revealed in God’s Word.
What were once mysteries, have been revealed for all to see.
The mystery of Jesus Christ, who’s the very Author of all life.
A mystery of purpose in Christ, how in Him we have New Life.
Another mystery of Jesus Christ, is how we gain Eternal Life.

There’s the mystery of Israel, and how they fit into God’s will.
Israel is hardened for awhile, so God can include the Gentile.
God didn’t forget the nation; they’re included in His Salvation.
By redemption in God’s Son, Jew and Gentile become one.
The mystery of The Gospel, and how in Christ it was fulfilled.

And the mystery of The Church; those in Christ by New Birth.
My Friend, not to be remiss, there’s the mystery of Godliness.
The mystery of His Revelation; an unveiling of God’s Salvation.
The mystery of end times friend; what God shall do in the end.
The mystery of hope in Glory; the purpose of the Gospel story.

Behold, I show you a mystery, one that every eye shall see.
Christians will not all see death, but be changed in a breath,
In the twinkling of an eye, they will see Christ, but will not die.
While men left upon the earth, will not see men of New Birth,
For only those men born again, shall be raptured in the end.

All the mysteries of past sages, are fulfilled in the Rock of Ages.
God spoke in prophets of old, in Christ fulfilled mysteries untold.
Christ’s Revelation revealed to all, redemption from Adam’s fall.
Christ revealed His Salvation, to every Jew and Gentile nation.
If you accept Christ as Lord, the mystery is a mystery no more.

The City of Dreadful Night

Per me si va nella citta dolente.

--Dante

Poi di tanto adoprar, di tanti moti
D'ogni celeste, ogni terrena cosa,
Girando senza posa,
Per tornar sempre la donde son mosse;
Uso alcuno, alcun frutto
Indovinar non so.

Sola nel mondo eterna, a cui si volve
Ogni creata cosa,
In te, morte, si posa
Nostra ignuda natura;
Lieta no, ma sicura
Dell' antico dolor . . .
Pero ch' esser beato
Nega ai mortali e nega a' morti il fato.

--Leopardi

PROEM

Lo, thus, as prostrate, "In the dust I write
My heart's deep languor and my soul's sad tears."
Yet why evoke the spectres of black night
To blot the sunshine of exultant years?
Why disinter dead faith from mouldering hidden?
Why break the seals of mute despair unbidden,
And wail life's discords into careless ears?

Because a cold rage seizes one at whiles
To show the bitter old and wrinkled truth
Stripped naked of all vesture that beguiles,
False dreams, false hopes, false masks and modes of youth;
Because it gives some sense of power and passion
In helpless innocence to try to fashion
Our woe in living words howe'er uncouth.

Surely I write not for the hopeful young,
Or those who deem their happiness of worth,
Or such as pasture and grow fat among
The shows of life and feel nor doubt nor dearth,
Or pious spirits with a God above them
To sanctify and glorify and love them,
Or sages who foresee a heaven on earth.

For none of these I write, and none of these
Could read the writing if they deigned to try;

Romance, Love, Sex, Dislike and Dispose

Romance is a fascination
For a person, normally of the other sex
Expressed or otherwise
Irrespective of the other person
Having a similar emotion
It remains often gentle
Waiting for an occasion
To demonstrate the passion
When given a green signal
Romantic expressions surface
Which need not be anything material
But just can be a word, wink, wave of fingers
And a similar lot subtle things
Which only the partners understand and enjoy
Romance can even be maintained
Between people unmet
Exchanging these signals remotely
With no one else knowing what is on between them

Love follows romance
When people meet in person
It requires physical presence
Direct conversation
Exchange of gifts
Not necessarily physical intimacy
Expressed romance, established love
Grow fast
Both the partners longing for other
Intolerance towards separation
Restlessness if the partner is not available
Unexplainable anxiety
Irritability all these manifest
Self questioning on the genuineness of this feeling
Rehearsing a dialogue while preparing to meet
Why, at times, a strong dislike towards partner
Also surfaces
Relishing the mutual dependency
Romance and love often strike
Between those, who have a lot mismatch
With regard to a range of qualities
These are blind and at times termed irrational

Sex, the biological process
Is where all the above lead to
It is the final expression of these
And this physically intimate act
Is the climax and designed by nature
For reproduction of a genetic mix
Of the people in love
Scientifically it is the culmination

They Dislike Themselves

They dislike each other.
Ask them!
They will admit they do.
Ask them the reason...
And they will have not one clue.

Unless disliking someone,
Based on what is believed one thinks...
The other thinks.
The other feels.
The other does.
And what another one says!
That may or may not be honest or real.

Purely something done,
That has been based on speculation!
To ruin and destroy.
As if to reflect one's environment...
And its degradation.
Like choosing a slot machine at a casino.
Because it may display pictures of diamonds or stars,
On the turning wheels.
And avoiding it if the appearance does not appeal.

And making decisions by how one feels...
Not investigated at all.
That would take the time of a mature mind.

Need I say more?

They dislike each other,
Some say they hate.
Because something told that was not true.
By some who instigate.

They also dislike themselves as well.
Since they've been told they should!
And they do.

Need I say more?
Hopefully this isn't you.

The acknowledged legislators of the world take the world as given. They dislike mysteries, for mysteries cannot be coded, or legislated, and wonder cannot be made into law. And so these legislators police the accepted frontiers of things.

The Mysteries Remain

The mysteries remain,
I keep the same
cycle of seed-time
and of sun and rain;
Demeter in the grass,
I multiply,
renew and bless
Bacchus in the vine;
I hold the law,
I keep the mysteries true,
the first of these
to name the living, dead;
I am the wine and bread.
I keep the law,
I hold the mysteries true,
I am the vine,
the branches, you
and you.

Eyes Open

keep your eyes open as if
love could come a walkin as if
everything else is meaningless, meaningless
and that's the way it oughta be
mysteries, especially she
oh everything else
is almost meaningless, meaningless
oh say
well i will always feel that way
and if a time a change should come
you'd remember my name
oh say
well i will always feel that way
and if a time a change should come
you'd remember my
you'd remember my name
keep your eyes open as if
everyone's a poet as if
everything else is meaningless, meaningless
and that's the way it oughta be, yea
mysteries, including me
oh well everything else
is almost meaningless, meaningless
oh yea, oh say
well i will always feel that way
and if a time a change should come
you'd remember my name
oh say
well i will always feel that way
and if a time a change should come
you'd remember my
you'd remember my
you'd remember my name
to be a little bit advanced
you gotta take a little bit of a second chance
on life
you gotta get on up and dance
you better throw all your precious plans
better wave them goodbye
a buh bye, buh bye, bye bye bye
ya gotta keep your eyes open
as if everything else is just along
come along on its way
and that's the way it oughta be
well mysteries in everything
well i say, i say
well i, i will always feel that way
and if a time a change should come

Rainbow Eyes

Shes been gone since yesterday
Oh I didnt care
Never cared for yesterdays
Fancies in the air
No sighs or mysteries
She lay golden in the sun
No broken harmonies
But Ive lost my way
She had rainbow eyes
Rainbow eyes
Rainbow eyes
Love should be a simple blend
A whispering on the shore
No clever words you cant defend
They lead to never more
No sighs or mysteries
She lay golden in the sun
No broken harmonies
But Ive lost my way
She had rainbow eyes
Rainbow eyes
Rainbow eyes
Summer nights are colder now
Theyve taken down the fair
And all the lights have died somehow
Or were they ever there
No sighs or mysteries
She lay golden in the sun
No broken harmonies
But Ive lost my way
She had rainbow eyes
Uuuuh, uuh

A Thousand Years

Words by sting, music by sting and kipper
A thousand years, a thousand more,
A thousand times a million doors to eternity
I may have lived a thousand lives, a thousand times
An endless turning stairway climbs
To a tower of souls
If it takes another thousand years, a thousand wars,
The towers rise to numberless floors in space
I could shed another million tears, a million breaths,
A million names but only one truth to face
A million roads, a million fears
A million suns, ten million years of uncertainty
I could speak a million lies, a million songs,
A million rights, a million wrongs in this balance of time
But if there was a single truth, a single light
A single thought, a singular touch of grace
Then following this single point , this single flame,
The single haunted memory of your face
I still love you
I still want you
A thousand times the mysteries unfold themselves
Like galaxies in my head
I may be numberless, I may be innocent
I may know many things, I may be ignorant
Or I could ride with kings and conquer many lands
Or win this world at cards and let it slip my hands
I could be cannon food, destroyed a thousand times
Reborn as fortunes child to judge anothers crimes
Or wear this pilgrims cloak, or be a common thief
Ive kept this single faith, I have but one belief
I still love you
I still want you
A thousand times the mysteries unfold themselves
Like galaxies in my head
On and on the mysteries unwind themselves
Eternities still unsaid
til you love me

Hard Wired

Your wants desires
Needs and wishes
Will be duly noted
Processed filed and cataloged
Labeled and encoded
Turned into sitcom dialog
And advertising slogans
Weve got a box to put in your brain
Hard wired for downloading
All the secrets and the mysteries
Youve been selfishly withholding
The dreams and hopes
That once were yours
Will now be collected and dispersed
So the first to come with cash to spend
Will be the first one served
Weve got a box to put in your brain
Hard wired for downloading
All the secrets and the mysteries
Youve been selfishly withholding
Make you think you like to be watched
Displayed on the auction block
Invaded in your own home
Stripped naked on the television
Humiliated in front of millions
Weve got a box to put in your brain
Hard wired for downloading
All the secrets and the mysteries
Youve been selfishly withholding
Weve got a box to put in your brain
Weve got a box to put in your brain
Weve got a box to put in your brain
Weve got a box to put in your brain
Your wants desires
Needs and wishes
Will be duly noted

Mysteries Of My Life

There are many mysteries in my life
for which an answer for I do not possess.

Why after an almost a lifetime
of wishing I had a brother
only to find did when it was too late
to really get to know him?

Why after fulfilling a wish of a late friend
would the acknowledgement
that I yearned for
start to really, begin?

Why when I never wanted to drive
did I get involve in an accident
as a passenger and changed my mind?

Why after yearning to capture my past
and talk to some old school friends
did I find a stranger I barely knew,
but whom when we met recognised one another instantly
and hugged one another intensely
never wanting to let go
and when it came to part again, we felt like family.

I always have more questions
than answers to possess.
Why with the passing of each day
more mysteries come my way?
There is no logical reason
for all the mysteries in my life,
they just happen to surprise me
one every corner that I turn.
I hold no sorrow for them happening
only happiness and joy.
A Gypsy once told me
I was born under a lucky star.
It is possible she was right.
Lucky in my friends
and my extended families
that stretch around the world.
I think no man can call himself
luckier than that.

Far Too Little We Know (Enclosed Triplets) (In Answer To John Keats)

I

Not all kinds of things can be explained
by mere science or by some philosophy
and so the essence of life has remained

without its knowledge ever been gained
a very great kind of strange mystery
in that it does exist unrestrained,

when couples from pleasure have not abstained,
as in love some small cells brings a child to be
while after death life cannot be maintained

or knowledge of its wellspring be retained
while its source seems divine, something Godly;
not all kinds of things can be explained.

II

While some mysteries still has a haven
in their own undisturbed happenings
while human science still measures uneven;

if texture, colour and waves in heaven
of a rainbow is in the knowledge of things
the impact, the magic of it is not given,

even when men are despotic or craven,
on faith like butterflies, angels have wings,
as does remain the lore of the raven,

even the devil has hoofs that are cloven,
some stories have got some imaginings
while some mysteries still has a haven.

III

People might think I am on the loony side
but not all discoveries have been made
and to real faith some powers remain wide,

a man may have a tender hearted bride
as true love's mysteries do not just fade
while all their guests do them well wishes bide,

when hidden facts appear from where they hide,
new kinds of things may appear from the shade,
with knowledge man wants to rule and divide,

Blanket Syd - Explosions in the Sky

Explosions in the sky. The dancing starts to the entrancing stars,
Through shimmering shades, a thousand unexplained chances are revealed,
Nothing is concealed from these eyes of beatific vision surreal.
Here I am, sailing the celestial passageways of my universe,
My universe so distinct, beautiful and real that I could not imagine another
That I could love more with all my heart, yet I wish to share my world.

A ball room dance ensues and madness pursues my vision.
A thousand partners dance holding each other close.
She paraded with herself in her arms, knowing that she would do no harm to herself.
The grate beckons holding fire, hell opens up its heart to you, hell breathes.
Step into the furnace, the fiery forge of your mindscapes creation.
Seeking revelation what will you find, as the mind of the acid soaked mariner prays he wont go blind.
Will you find a new vision more beautiful and true than ever could you imagine? The fire breathes with the spirit of unison, the embers flow in liquid movements,
Beyond within and without the moment I am beyond within and without content.
Through descent into madness I am seeing the trees reflected backwards into an eternity
Of long lost echoes, all around they cry and dance and scream with the joy of loosing
Their burden humanities. So frail at times is my reality, so pale and thin at times is sanity.

A giant African head sculpture erupts from beneath the ground,
As it rose it turned its head to face me, deep, sunken, hollow eyes
Of dark and sickly sweet mysteries faced me as my heart a pacing
Set out upon a path to strengthen faith to an extent that I could laugh
At the horrors waiting upon my shoulder, this lance of hope is my love.

Laid upon my back I could not know anything to be true
But the stars and their dance upon a blanket of infinite blue.
The trees take on their own personalities, they reveal themselves to you,
Each aspires towards the sky, waving their arms in soft servitude beneath
The hand of the winds ever present blowing. Here we are as beasts of youth,
Parading around upon some unknown ground, disguised by the valleys green.

The trees penetrate our mother the earth as a thousand un tamed nymphs
Dance before my vision. Through a mist of obscurity, a veil of misunderstanding
I saw a new world, a new heaven breathing life beyond the blue of mysteries shadow.
I hear voices upon the wind; I feel more than I could ever understand as real.
No illusion of sanity can save me now.

Old loves never die but are shrouded by new loves envy of the old.

There she was, dancing in parallel with herself, the perfect synchronisation,
One dressed in the purest white the other in the darkest shadows of mysteries abyss,
Both looked with longing eyes towards the horizon of eternity’s bliss.
What does it mean? Is it a dream? How is it the ghost of a girl can gleam so?

A thousand nymphs run wild within the forest night, dancing they are as the shadows
Of lanterns twist the perception of this mind of mine, out of time, out of place with
Smiling eyes of faceless dreams I am as one with the roots of Unison.

Isolation beckons upon the horizon, there lays in wait an island in the sky for you.

Boundless curiosity for friend Thad.

The world is full of mysteries.
Colossal buildings left behind
by earlier societies.
Their purposes still ill defined

Although the archaeologists
advance their favourite theories.
The mysteries will long persist.
Their different hypotheses.

Cannot be proven any way.
They’re based on their experience
Of living in the world to day.
A different frame of reference.

Which cannot possibly apply
They saw the world quite differently.
I do not think we can deny
We’re blinkered in the way we see.

The evidence which we can find,
We can’t interpret properly
The artefacts they left behind
Their uses are a mystery.

Though we attempt to classify
we can’t be sure we are correct.
These relics from past history
aren’t always what we would expect.

Temples and Tombs or Palaces
The truth is that we do not know
Secular or sacred places.
There is no evidence to show.

That we can state with confidence
confirms our modern theories.
We have no point of reference
With which everyone agrees.

The arguments rage to and fro
As experts wrangle bitterly
They daren’t admit they do not know.
Although they don’t quite obviously.

At best an educated guess
Must be the best we can expect.
From experts trying to impress
The other experts I suspect.

Lucifer Wages Rebellion Wars: Rules A Mud World

a world of historical mysteries
a world of hidden mysteries
a world of political mysteries

a world of conspiracy fact

never in my lifetime
could I ever truthfully say
the land was without war

many wars exist continually
somewhere in various locations
shifting across chess board earth

symbolically in lost Eden
in a state of lost paradise
in a state of bodily perfection

in a measure of favoured land
in a measure of favoured time
chosen land existed without war

before Adam and Eve were expelled
before the land before them was cursed
in their expelled wanderings into cursed world

before this Lucifer had already been expelled
before this Lucifer was within lunar orbit bound
Lucifer waging rebellion wars rules a mud world

raging like a roaring lion seeking souls to bind

death is individual
death is soul specific
death claims communities nations

wages of sin are death?
death claims all sinners?
death claims all earth born souls?

yet symbolically
what will the death
of the globe be?

a revelation of pestilence, hunger, famine?
as under global warming storms our crops erode?
death fire hunger famine signs of Lucifer’s rebellion war?

contrast is the blessing
of innocence fallen curse of greed
