She is so happy now
That you are out of her mind
You finally vanished

Why are you called Sadness?

There was a dark cloud hanging in her eyes

The oil from that big ship and vessels

Because it is sad to see

But the truth is that she had to go through it

Those who are sad and listen to the night's song
And wait for the sadness to end
Know the sadness can never end
Even if the song ends many times

Night after night there are so many songs
And there is so much sadness
But the sadness never ends
Though the songs end

The Mind's Polarities

It’s said – and so it seems to be –
that when the individual mind
emerges from that place where mind
rests, perfect, and in unity with all things to be known –
in that place, which is; within us, and without us:

that in that moment, as the mind expands,
and as its sphere within expands to match that sphere without,
polarities arise; such axis as may join them
to lie hidden and forgot; instead we see
all as remotenesses, that grow ever more the farther;

and then – the aweful nature of the human lie –
name them ‘opposites’… and in that step,
a further one, ‘duality’…

and so, condemn ourselves to fruitless life
where, across the vast mind’s sphere,
sadness – let’s say – sees, far off, that pure happiness -
too far, too far, to be within its reach…
and happiness, seeing far off, sadness, seeks in pleasure
to keep its distance…and so, the balance swings,
the world wags, and the mind knows only restlessness…

and knows, desire… how we forget,
we could not know desire, but that we knew
what desire desires; what’s missing in our world;
sadness, knowing the happiness; what would sadness be
without its knowing, in full, its happiness? ..

if we but saw desire as grace; looked at it with clear eye;
we might see, lurking there within,
beyond the warnings of its waywardness,
that holy thing that yearns alway for onefulness…

and as we have departed,
then by grace, so we return;
find by that third perfect point;
that eye that sees, from its eternal home,
duality to resolve in unity..
and all absolved, we’re absolute..

The Beauty That Resides In Sadness

it is with great sadness that
i write
you a letter,
everything in it is all about sadness
it is not just about us
or you,
it is about the whole massive humanity
that is never drowned
with sadness but struggles in that ocean
of choices and so alone
amidst the
storms and the
other survivors

it is with great sadness that we gather here
and begin to hear
the sounds of all these forms and shapes and
colors of
sadness

i listen to you on an impromptu
and you listen to me
with all patience and with all sadness we embrace ourselves

The sadness of loneliness-
I had forgotten it-
I have been away for a long time
But now in the late afternoon

Of the usually bustling streets

We Drank The Sadness

Come! !
Solitude, my friend
Accompany me tonight.
come! !
sit to my side
and bring your glass and pour in it
the sadness of solitary hearts.

Take their tears, put yours and take mine.
Let´s allow them to ferment a while
until they are converted into wine,
that tonight I want to get drunk
with the wine of sadness.

Tonight, in your company, I'll not only
drink your sadness and the sadness of world
but, rather, I´ll get drunk myself with my heart´s sadness
and the solitude of my soul.

Come solitude!
Let´s leave to walk and let´s scream to the world
that tonight we drank its sadness

There Is This Sadness That Brings......

there is this sadness that i want
to give to you
but of course, you shall not accept it

for who is foolish enough
to welcome sadness when all hopes
of our humanity are pinned
on happiness?

but there is this sadness that makes us silent
and responsible upon our own shoulders

How sad this world of beauty might have been
How sad the leaves that do not know the beauty of their own green names
How sad the sound of sadness in its sinking down
How sad when no real sadness makes sadness so real
How sad and less than glad are we all
Savoring our own sadness-

Let it go away
Let it play elsewhere
Let joy and laughter make sadness a forgotten moment

Happiness And Sadness

Happiness what is it, is it love,
or is it just another sound, another word,
happiness is just another thing,
happiness is just another thing to believe in,

Happiness is only for those who deserve,
those who do not won't get the happiness,
those who are happy I pity them,
they know nothing, nothing about this world,

Happiness is evil, we may not see this,
but its true, happiness is evil in so many ways,
happiness is a disguise for the true world,
the hard, cold, hard loving world we live in today,

Happiness is the only feeling you think you want,
I know it isn't I know the dark secrets of the emotion,
I know its hidden secrets, I know its every lying lies,
happiness so cold and unfair to those who don't have it,

my only emotion I take for granted is sadness,
I find this emotion deep, profound, yet enlightening,
sadness so cold and envious is so true,
the sadness is what we need on this world,

sadness is the true world happiness isn't,
the decision is your, live a dream or live reality,
i'm living reality and i'm in the sadness,
the cold, dark, alone, cruel, all alone sadness....
