In This Existence

A consistency of a love wanted and missed,
Seems as I age with desire for it...
To grow distant from my wishes.

I thought I had been in its midst,
On more than just one occasion.
But as misunderstandings go...
So did my feelings,
For a long lasting relationship.
Since this was not on someone else's list.
Someone I believed matched perfectly my wish.

A consistency of a love wanted and missed,
Seems as I age with desire for it...
To grow distant from my wishes.
But I'm hoping on my journey I will know,
What the having of true love means...
With a sharing it to grow.

I thought I had been in its midst,
On more than just one occasion.
But as misunderstandings go...
So did my feelings,
For a long lasting relationship.
This was not on someone else's list.
I learned to release with a letting go of it.

Although...
I am forever the optimist.
I'm hoping on my journey I will know,
What the having of true love means...
With a sharing it to grow,
In this existence.

That is my wish,
In this existence.
A consistency of a love,
Wanted and not to miss.

In this existence,
I remain optimistic...
For a consistency of a love,
Wanted and not to miss.

Who's Better Than The One Who's Done It

Who's best to deliver and with an expected...
Consistency.

'Who's better than the one who has already done it? '

Who's best to deliver the better effect,
And...
With consistency?

'Who's better than the one who has already done it?
Who's better than the one who has already done it? '

The one who's done it?
'Yes.'
And with a proving of to admit.
The one who's don't it...
'Yes...
And with consistent prolificness.'

Who's best to remove any left regrets...
And with a doing of consistency?

'Well...
The one who's done it.
And with a proving of to admit.
The one who's don't it...
And with consistent prolificness.'

Who's best to leave several people pleased,
And with a proven consistency?

'Well...
Who's better than the one who's done it?
Well who's better than the one who's done it.'

Who's best to remove any left regrets?

'Well...
Who's better than the one who's done it? '

Who's best to leave several people pleased?

'Well...
Who's better than the one who's done it?
And still manages to leave them stunned.
Well...
Who's better than the one who's done it?
Well who's better than the one who's done it,
And still manages to leave them stunned.'

No Choice

right, wrong,
neat, or dirty
whatever that be
he goes for consistency
loved or unloved
hate, indifference,
reunion, departures
hellos
he goes for consistency
stay put and travel
silence noise
chaos pandemonium
he goes for consistency

moving on always moving on
with the earth in circles
revolving upon an orbit
always moving on and moving on

what choice does he have?
if he stays, he is left out
if he moves on, the horizon is edgeless

A Love For All Seasons

There's no truth in the rumour
That's all I want to say
There's no room for manoevre
Make sure that it stays
A love for all seasons
October was a drag
Damn it all
You and I were fools
Overcast and sad
Winter blues
Allowing us to cool
When it's grey I know all I want to do
Resort to make-believe
There's no truth in the rumour
That's all I want to say
There's no room for manoevre
Make sure that it stays
A love for all seasons
January comes
Steely blue
Nothing seems to rhyme
With all the noise of spring
Passion wakes
Cos' we hear summertime
When it's grey I know all I want to do
Resort to make-believe
There's no truth in the rumour
That's all I want to say
There's no room for manoevre
so Make sure that it stays
A love for all seasons...
October comes around
As it does
But this time we're prepared
You and I can go
To love land
There's a sunset to be shared
When it's grey I know all I want to do
Resort to make-believe...
There's no truth in the rumour
That's all I want to say
There's no room for manoevre
So Make sure that it stays
There's no truth in the rumour
That's all I want to say
There's no room for manoevre
So Make sure that it stays
A love for all seasons
yeah, a love for all seasons
I said it

Last Resort

You're my last resort
When i don't have anyone else to talk to
You're there for me
Yet you're a friend that goes unnoticed
You're my last resort
When i think i'm useless
Wanting to die you reassure me
You're one of my best friends
Yet i don't treat you like one
With that said
I'm truely sorry
You're my last resort
and i'm yours

ANGRY WHITE BOY POLKA

[LAST RESORT (Papa Roach)]
Cut my life into pieces
This is my last resort, suffocation, no breathing
Don't give a... if I cut my arm bleeding
This is my last resort
'Cause I'm losing my sight, losing my mind
Wish somebody would tell me I'm fine
Losing my sight, losing my mind
Wish somebody would tell me I'm fine
Nothing's alright, nothing is fine
I'm running and a-crying
[CHOP SUEY! (System Of A Down)]
Wake up! (Wake up)
Grab a brush and put a little make-up
Hide the scars to fade away the shakeup
(Hide the scars to fade away the shakeup)
Why'd you leave the keys upon the table?
Here you go create another fable
You wanted to
Grab a brush and put a little makeup
You wanted to
Hide the scars to fade away the shakeup
You wanted to
Why'd you leave the keys upon the table?
You wanted to
I don't think you trust
In my self-righteous suicide
I cry when angels deserve to die, die, die
D-d-die die die die die
Hey!
[GET FREE (The Vines)]
I'm gonna get free
I'm gonna get free
I'm gonna get free
Ride into the sun
She never loved me
She never loved me
She never loved me
Why should anyone?
(Come here, come here, come here)
I'll take your photo for ya
(Come here, come here, come here)
Drive you around the corner
(Come here, come here, come here)
You know you really oughta
(Come here, come here, come here)
Move out to California*
[HATE TO SAY I TOLD YOU SO (The Hives)]
Do what I want 'cause I can, if I don't because I wanna
Be ignored by the stiff and the bored because I'm gonna

The Court Of Love

With timerous hert and trembling hand of drede,
Of cunning naked, bare of eloquence,
Unto the flour of port in womanhede
I write, as he that non intelligence
Of metres hath, ne floures of sentence;
Sauf that me list my writing to convey,
In that I can to please her hygh nobley.

The blosmes fresshe of Tullius garden soote
Present thaim not, my mater for to borne:
Poemes of Virgil taken here no rote,
Ne crafte of Galfrid may not here sojorne:
Why nam I cunning? O well may I morne,
For lak of science that I can-not write
Unto the princes of my life a-right

No termes digne unto her excellence,
So is she sprong of noble stirpe and high:
A world of honour and of reverence
There is in her, this wil I testifie.
Calliope, thou sister wise and sly,
And thou, Minerva, guyde me with thy grace,
That langage rude my mater not deface.

Thy suger-dropes swete of Elicon
Distill in me, thou gentle Muse, I pray;
And thee, Melpomene, I calle anon,
Of ignoraunce the mist to chace away;
And give me grace so for to write and sey,
That she, my lady, of her worthinesse,
Accepte in gree this litel short tretesse,

That is entitled thus, 'The Court of Love.'
And ye that ben metriciens me excuse,
I you besech, for Venus sake above;
For what I mene in this ye need not muse:
And if so be my lady it refuse
For lak of ornat speche, I wold be wo,
That I presume to her to writen so.

But myn entent and all my besy cure
Is for to write this tretesse, as I can,
Unto my lady, stable, true, and sure,
Feithfull and kind, sith first that she began
Me to accept in service as her man:

Orlando Furioso Canto 9

ARGUMENT
So far Orlando wends, he comes to where
He of old Proteus' hears the cruel use
But feels such pity for Olympia fair,
Wronged by Cymosco, who in prison mews
Her plighted spouse, that ere he makes repair
Further, he gives her hope to venge the abuse:
He does so, and departs; and with his spouse
Departs Bireno, to repeat his vows.

I
What cannot, when he has a heart possess'd
This false and cruel traitor Love? since he
Can banish from Orlando's faithful breast
Such tried allegiance and due loyalty?
Wise, full of all regards, and of the blest
And glorious church the champion wont to be,
Now, little for himself or uncle, driven
By a vain love, he cares, and less for heaven.

II
But I excuse him well, rejoiced to know
I have like partner in my vice: for still
To seek my good I too am faint and slow,
But sound and nimble in pursuit of ill.
The count departs, disguised in sable show,
Nor for so many friends, with froward will,
Deserted cares; and comes where on the plain
Are camped the hosts of Afric and of Spain;

III
Rather uncamped: for, in less troops or more,
Rains under shed and tree had driven the band.
Here ten, there twenty, seven or eight, or four,
Near or further off, Orlando scanned.
Each sleeps, oppressed with toil and wearied sore;
This stretched on earth, that propped upon his hand:
They sleep, and many might the count have slain,
Yet never bared his puissant Durindane.

IV
So generous is Orlando's heart, he base
Esteems it were to smite a sleeping foe.
Now this he seeks, and now that other place;
Yet cannot track his lady, high or low.
If he finds any one in waking case,
Sighing, to him he paints her form and show;
Then prays him that for courtesy, he where
The damsel is, will reach him to repair.

The Example of Vertu : Cantos I.-VII.

Here begynneth the boke called the example of vertu.

The prologe.

Whan I aduert in my remembraunce
The famous draughtes of poetes eloquent
Whiche theyr myndes dyd well enhaunce
Bokes to contryue that were expedyent
To be remembred without Impedyment
For the profyte of humanyte
This was the custume of antyquyte.
I now symple and moost rude
And naked in depured eloquence
For dulnes rethoryke doth exclude
Wherfore in makynge I lake intellygence
Also consyderynge my grete neglygence
It fereth me sore for to endyte
But at auenture I wyll now wryte.
As very blynde in the poetys art
For I therof can no thynge skyll
Wherfore I lay it all a part
But somwhat accordynge to my wyll
I wyll now wryte for to fulfyll
Saynt Powles wordes and true sentement
All that is wryten is to oure document
O prudent Gower in langage pure
Without corrupcyon moost facundyous
O noble Chauser euer moost sure
Of frutfull sentence ryght delycyous
O vertuous Lydgat moche sentencyous
Unto you all I do me excuse
Though I your connynge do now vse
Explicit prologus.

Capitulum Primsi.
In Septembre in fallynge of the lefe
Whan phebus made his declynacyon
And all the whete gadred was in the shefe
By radyaunt hete and operacyon
Whan the vyrgyn had full domynacyon
And Dyane entred was one degre
Into the sygne of Gemyne
Whan the golden sterres clere were splendent
In the firmament puryfyed clere as crystall
By imperyall course without incombrement
As Iuppyter and Mars that be celestyall
With Saturne and Mercury that wer supernall
Myxt with venus that was not retrograte
That caused me to be well fortunate
In a slombrynge slepe with slouth opprest

In baseball, my theory is to strive for consistency, not to worry about the numbers. If you dwell on statistics you get shortsighted, if you aim for consistency, the numbers will be there at the end.

Character

Hard to develop.
Difficult to maintain.
Consistency is need of hour.
Stability is the soul.

Defining good virtues.
Exhale all your evil.
Inhale all virtues.
Hard to develop all virtues.

Win over your weakness
Keep some distance from evil
Refresh mind and heart.
Maintain your level of thought.

Stand on your thought.
Follow them as dream wish.
Difficult time is not a permanent feature.
Consistency will be standard.

Inner voice play major role.
Good or evil are only medium.
Choice is always doorstep of heart and mind.
This is all stand for character.

What an Astounding world!

What an Astounding World!
You are an astounding world,
Awfully fruitless to fathom
No wonder, your formation
Is definitely not fortuitous,
But a superlative function,
By a supernatural factor.
What an astounding world!

A world of unearthly workmanship,
A creation of unnatural craftsmanship.
The handiwork of the only Craft-God,
Unfolding with painstaking precision,
Progressing with amazing predictability.
What a mystical masterpiece,
The centerpiece of the Universe.

What a paranormal handiwork,
Moving on with amazing consistency.
Day always followed by night,
With twenty-four hour- day,
With steady seasons making a year,
With season displaying same features yearly
Each year consisting of regular days,
Birth always preceding death.
What a catalogue of constancy!
In an amazing world.

These epitomes of the your evenness,
Admittedly, an illusory sample of indicators,
Are but a tip of the iceberg,
Of the heaps of hints
Of the world's startling stability.
What an astounding world!

Punctuated by this marked regularity,
Is a humbling degree of peculiarity:
The swift do not always win the race,
The strong do not always win the fight,
The learned are not the richest,
Nor are they the most successful,
In business, politics or church leadership.
Death does not necessarily admit the oldest.
What a world of astonishing absurdity!

But this irregularity littering regularity,
And Illogicality lacing consistency,
Underscores the Craft-God's omnipotence.
Demonstrating that He calls the shots,
Signifying nothing is too hard for Him,

As A Factor

Persistence with consistency,
Requires more than a risk.
And a doing it with a progess done...
One must stay firm and fit.

As a factor.
With a matter of fact in tact.
And as a factor...
With one's mind focused on that!

Persistence with consistency,
Requires more than a risk.
And as a factor...
One must stay firm and be fit.
With one's mind focused on that!
And with a matter of fact in tact.

And as a factor...
One must stay firm and be fit.
And as a factor...
One's mind can not drift from this.
And as a factor...
One must stay firm and be fit.
And as a factor...
One can not drift far this.
Or have a mind not feeling it,
Detached from factors.

From That Zone As Shown

With consistency when someone known,
Speaks 24/7 negatively.
From that zone as shown.
That person needs mental therapy.
And if suggested but does not heed.
That person known should be left alone.

Those who take advantage of one's hospitality,
To disrespect a giving done.
For an opportunity,
To reduce a pleasant environment offered.
For a chance to pollute the air others breathe.
That person should be asked to leave.
And fast!

With consistency when someone known,
Speaks 24/7 negatively.
From that zone as shown.
That person needs mental therapy.
And if suggested but does not heed.
That person known should be left alone.
With an asking to leave your environment in peace.

Guess What?

Guess what?
When I discovered,
I could appreciate my own happiness.
Without feeling the guilt of being selfish,
Or self centered.
I began to do it with more consistency.

I was one who believed,
Doing for others came first.
To bust my butt for my brother!
Be dutiful and strong for my sister.
And so on and so forth.
You know...
That me for you,
You for me BS.

I am 62 years old.
And that kind of human spirit...
I have witnessed used infrequently.
And I can't be the only one...
Subjected to live in the valley of leeches.
Some folks are blessed to give with that sacrifice.

And this too I have learned...
You can not do enough for other people.
They will squeeze you dry of every emotion you have.
And then complain to anyone who listens...
About how 'you' think you are better than everyone else.

Guess what?
When I discovered,
I could appreciate my own happiness.
Without feeling the guilt of being selfish,
Or self centered.
I began to do it with more consistency.
And left those to say what they will,
Alone.
Because they will.
Whether they are alone or not!

Guess what?
I've also learned I can spend wonderful times,
Away from miserable people!
And I'm not saying 'all' are miserable.
Just the ones I enjoy being away from!

Intimacy

Afraid of intimacy.
A heart that has been stung,
Just once...
Becomes more suspicious,
And less naive...
When a stinging from someone loved,
Is untimely done.

Afraid of intimacy.
Very few are ready to commit to this.
Until assured some consistency,
Is readily given...
In the sharing of mutual needs.

Not many will leave themselves open.
Or acknowledge publicly...
A wish for a love uncompared,
Shared in secret privacy.
And one devoted and discreet.

Afraid of intimacy?
Not me!
Whether private in discreet...
Or publicly displayed on crowded streets.
I seek a one on one!
That would suit me perfectly.
But these days that kind of intimacy,
Seems to be antiquated history.

Afraid of intimacy.
Very few are ready to commit to this.
Until assured some consistency,
Is readily given...
In the sharing of mutual needs.

And that would be my philosophy,
Regarding how I feel about intimacy.
An act complete of 'shared' familiarity.
Not something done to walk away from and leave.
That's nothing more than satisfying a convenience.

It Is All About One's Lifestyle

More people can be happier,
When they decide and choose to be.
And will not become afraid,
Or dazed in times like these...
That come to chase away a patience,
One has earned and wishes to keep.

But it is all about one's lifestyle.
And the witnessing of miracles,
One of faith has seen life bring.
And what it takes to quicken a smile.
With an acknowledgement of what this means.
To the one holding on to realize,
The magic of life...
And the consistency of fresh and new dreams.

It is all about one's lifestyle.
One of faith has seen life bring.
With an acknowledgement of what this means.
To the one holding on to realize,
The magic of life...
And the consistency of fresh and new dreams.
