Cursed (story)
I am Bill.I live with my brother, my dad, mom and my lil sis. There's always this thing that bothers my mind..it's because i believe that my mom and sis already died.It was almost a yearago yet not that old to be forgotten.our house was burnt for unknown reason. They we're found dead on the room i was staying.Burned, yet there's still mystery upon their death.
I can barely remember that i see mere smoke and huge fire.i was just 7 yet my mind works as if i was not. After the tragic happenings the ocean made noise and i saw a huge wave comming towards our direction.Crowds of neigbors, the police, the rescuers and even i, my lil bro and dad run away.
our house was swallowed by that huge wave. After that i don't know what else happened.I hear my dad yell and my lil bro crying.I see blurry lights and hear the sirens.I was asleep! am i? i see the lights striking in my eyelids yet i can not see any image.i hear the sound of waves smashing unto rocks then i'm
shocked to reality i'm just sitting on the deck before the emergency room in the city hospital.I was wonderin' what i'm doin' there but 'twas just a couple'o seconds when i saw my lil bro and dad walked out the emergency room, smiling and waved on me.My dad shouted com'mon bill let's go home.okey, well my dad's calling me.Gotta go!
i really don't know what happened but as we go back to where our house was build it was still there standing steady and strong.I looked around i saw our neighbor's house burnt.and i said' oh, bla bla i really don't know what's happening! ' and asked dad 'dad i thought it was our house burned? '
and as i always hear from him dad answered in a huge voice 'what? are you out of your mind? '
then i heared a soft voice saying 'John, let him rest.Maybe he's hallucinating.he's from kelly's house beside the shore.we all knew it's almost impossible for him to survive that huge fire.'
my pores closed, my spines shivered..and my heart pumped fast...
i shouted' who's that'? ... MOM?
and the voice answered 'yes dear.'
my dad then said' LEt's took him to the doctor, maybe the accident affected his mind too.'
'but DAD! ! , Mom and tricia died already! '
he answered: 'That's not funny bill! if yu're thinking this is the right time to crack pranks.well ITS NOT! ! ..Go to your room! ! '
'but DAD? '!
'NO buts, go to your room.NOW! '
okey, it seems like i really am hallucinating..maybe i came over kelly's house and caused fire and cause of the pressure and i was so scared that i would be charged for the accident i run out of my consciousness..yeah..maybe that's what happened..

Death Of An Innocent (Part 2)
'I went to a party mum,
I know what you'd say.
You'd say not to drink mum,
But I drank anyway.
I felt sick inside mum,
As I knew I would.
I didn't catch the bus mum,
As I definitely should.
I pulled into the road mum,
I felt dizzy in my head.
I didn't see her coming mum,
And now she's probably dead.
I saw her bleeding on the road mum,
But I got up okay.
I kept saying ‘I'm sorry' mum,
What else could I say?
I saw her leave this world mum,
And I wished that I were dead.
I was wracked with guilt mum,
I wish it were me instead.
Now I'm off to gaol mum,
Though I think that's only fair.
Manslaughter and drink driving mum,
No crime could compare.
I wanted you to know mum,
That I didn't think.
I'm so sorry mum,
I wish I didn't drink.
I have one last question mum,
Before we say goodbye.
I was the one to drink and drive,
So why did she have to die? '
* I didn't write the original ‘Death of an Innocent'. It is a poem from the girl who dies in this poem's perspective. No one is completely sure of the author, but Eugina Depasse claims she wrote it.
I read the original poem and it got me to thinking that although it is a horrendous thing for an innocent to die, what of the killer? Surely he/she would feel tremendously guilty? You can't always make someone a villan, there are many sides to a person.

Life Of A Salesman
What's a dad for dad?
Tell me why I'm here dad
Whisper in my ear that I'm growing up to be a better man, dad
Everything is fine dad
Proud that you are mine dad
Cause I know I'm growing up to be a better man
Father I will always be
That same boy that stood by the sea
And watched you tower over me
Now I'm older I wanna be the same as you
What's a dad for dad?
Taught me how to stand, dad
Took me by the hand and you showed me how to be a bigger man, dad
Listen when you talk, dad
Follow where you walk, dad
And you know that I will always do the best I can
I can
Father I will always be (always be)
That same boy that stood by the sea
And watched you tower over me (over me)
Now I'm older I wanna be the same as you
The same as you
Father I will always be
That same boy that stood by the sea
And watched you tower over me
Now I'm older I wanna be the same as you
When I am a dad, dad x2
I'm gonna be a good dad x2
Do the best you could, dad x2
Always understood, dad x2
Tell me I was right, dad x2
Opened up my eyes, dad x2
Glad to call you my, dad x2
Thank you for my dad x2

I'm Sorry
Mum I'm sorry for all of the tough times I put you through
There are many things that I did to you that I shouldn't have
But I think it's about time that I say I LOVE YOU
Mum this is coming from the heart
And that's the only way to start
Since I was a little girl
My whole life went into a whirl
I'm sorry for all of the lies
And for all the times I made you cry
I'm sorry for all of the fights I started with you
Mum just remember I LOVE YOU
All of the things that I have been going through
Makes me realize what you say is true
Mum my whole life is on lockdown
Everyday I walk with a frown
I just want to be free
And live my life the way it used to be
Mum I'm happy you are there to help me through life
And that is true I don't have to think twice
Mum my whole life went down the drain
Ever since I went to court
And went through all of that pain.......
I wish I could go back
And walk through life on different tracks
Mum freedom doesn't come free
Especially for me
Mum I have committed many sins
But I have to stay strong
In my life I haven't seen many grins
But I'll be strong no matter how long
I still have a lot to learn
No matter how much my heart burns
Mum I'm sorry for all of the fights
Especially the ones that lasted all night

One Day I'll Make You Proud, Dad......! ! ! ! !
Dad, I'm flunked,
said me.....
Son, never worry,
I'm happy you tried.....
ONE DAY I'LL MAKE YOU PROUD, DAD.....! ! ! ! ! ! !
YOU'LL SON, I RECKON.....
Dad, I'm ditched,
said me, wailing.....
Son, never weep,
I'm happy someone made you realise the pain.....
ONE DAY I'LL MAKE YOU PROUD, DAD.....! ! ! ! ! ! !
YOU'LL SON, I RECKON.....
Dad, I'm expeled,
said me, embarrassed of copying in finals......
son, never shame of mistakes,
I'm happy you admit the wrongdoing......
ONE DAY I'LL MAKE YOU PROUD, DAD.....! ! ! ! ! ! !
YOU'LL SON, I RECKON.....
Dad, I'm sloshed,
said me, apologizing for being like that.....
Son, I'll help you to bed,
I'm happy you learned to apologize.....

Dad, I'm paid,

Son, It's yours, keep it safe,
I'm happy you earned them legitimately.....

I'm happy you don't miss mommy's love anymore......
ONE DAY I'LL MAKE YOU PROUD, DAD.....! ! ! ! ! ! !
YOU'LL SON, I RECKON.....
Dad, I'm married,
said me, Kneeling for his blessings....
Son, blessings always on you since your birth,
I'm happy I dont have to sleep with you anymore......

Came 23rd morn May 1963
CAME..23rd MORN May 1963
Daddy the 'First Only True Love' In a Childs Life
The saddest, is a heart that has seen a knife
A dad's death a pain, unexplainable and a strife
Our hair neatly combed and to perfection
Our uniforms neat, mum did not fail satisfation
Holding daddy's hands to school we went
After two rainy days at home, which we happily spent.
We were surely not afraid to innocently say
Daddy dear didn't send us 'yesterday'
He said the rains will make us very ill
Our classmates smiled strangely and stood still.
But our teachers clearly tried to tell us so,
Daddy will not forever be at your door.
As kids 'YOU' wll fail to understand,
Time can be so cruel with the clocks hand.
Laughing and singng so merrily
It was a lovely drive home so joyfully
Kreme Crackers, cheese and tea with dad
Away we went for tap dancing and with dad
It was the day before my cuz 'tita's wedding
Dropped in an hour to see what we should bring
Dad went to a meeting and dinner with friends
But things changed as fate had plans to see it end
It was half past eight when the door bell rang
My aunt stood with our family doctor in hand
My mum was worried when the doctor kindly said
'Ibrahims' got a chest pain and is in hospital bed.
She stood there frozen in deep silent pain
Tears streaming down her personality maimed
Instantly she left, shattered, home i stayed
My aunts, brother, dads friend, went and we prayed
Pacing the floor, no control, so impatiently,
Hugging each other wondering desperately?
A wrist watch, dad gave me a couple of hours ago,
With pink roses, a fragracne so sweet, i loved it so.
Anxiously awaiting for good news, in tears
Feelings of heart beat with uncertainity, deadly fears
Our first man we loved and he loved us so
A wonderful dad the best he did for us, just four
Fatherless kids, so seldom we have heard
Staring painfully at each other with unspoken words
So young in our years we need him so near
And a mum too young surely dad should be here
But Alas, the angels did come so suddenly!
And took him away gently and tenderly.
Our first love of our lives, our shining star
Now gone away to heaven, away and so far
A dad is always in a crowd somewhere,
Watching his kids he loves no matter where.

We Said
Mum said go you play have some fun
Go play you in the hall,
I was playing having fun
Playing with my rubber ball,
Dad says angry ways
I not to play at all,
I said but mum said
I to play in fun,
Dad said, no fun today some other day
Go get yourself a bun.
Dad said go you out go play you in the sun,
I said, mum said today we go to town,
Dad said not to today some other day
Away you sit down,
I said mum said she baked me a cake,
Dad said mum said she bought the bloody cake
Then good old mum hit him round the bake,
Now I'm rolling over
Laughing out my belly,
But dad thinks I'm laughing
At the funnies on the telly

Baby Daddy
[Wyclef]
Right now if you raising some children that don't belong to you
But you know you're taking care of them
Please report on the dancefloor, let's go now
Do the stepfather dance (to the right)
Do the stepfather dance (to the left)
Do the stepfather dance
Baby mama don't hurt nobody, come on
[Wyclef]
I ain't that baby's daddy, I treat him like he's my own
But sometimes sit and wonder how can I father another man's son (oh)
When ? breaks in the pad
Shorty wanna scream 'I ain't his real dad' now
I may not be your father
But I'm the closest thing to him
[Wyclef]
Girl I love you
And ain't a thing that I wouldn't do for you
You my boo and we be sticking just like glue
But your kid's got me losing my mind
Wanna know if I want you
And if I do then you just gotta come to
Now the family be fighting through hard times
But I'm gon' treat them like they're mine
[Wyclef]
I ain't that baby's daddy, I treat him like he's my own
But sometimes sit and wonder how can I father another man's son (oh)

Fresh pair of Jordan's you had it
When you want a Playstation you had it (Vendetta)
First day of school you had it
Even when I didn't have it
Once upon a time, not long ago
Before the dreads, when I had the afro
When in school I used to pass the love notes
If you like me check yes if not check no
Flip the page now everything changed
The kid don't even have my last name
Sometime I feel like I'm paying child support
Someone please call people's court
[Wyclef]

Occupy MDP!
Occupy MDP!
that’s
mom’s and dad’s place -
you imbeciles!
Occupy
Mom’s and Dad’s place -
they’ve made too much money!
They’ve worked since
they were twenty
Looking after kids
and saving money –
being selfish
no charity!
just being plain greedy!
Occupy MDP!
Don’t you see?
Mom and Dad got too much money!
Look at me –
I’m twenty-eight
going on twenty-nine –
ain’t got a penny
ain’t got a honey
and Dad and Mom
got too much in the kitty
They put money in the bank!
Damn! Don’t you see?
Mom and Dad are capitalists!
Occupy MDP!
So Dad and Mom
thirty years
they worked
and raised kids
and they’ve paid every cent on the house!
Damn! Mom and Dad are capitalists!
Damn! – they’re bourgeoisie!
Occupy MDP!
Open their fridge– eat for free!
Watch TV, use their internet
and surf with glee –
Mom and Dad can pay every fee!
Cos they’re capitalists
and money pigs –
that’s what they are,
Mom and Dad
So Occupy MDP!
Lie in the couch
and get your friends
in the garden
and trample on the beds of flowers -
Damn! Can’t you see?

Establishing a new precedent.
Establishing a new precedent.
On Christmas day just after lunch.
Uncle Jim’s drunk most of the punch.
Grandmas been at the gin again
Her silly giggles make that plain.
Mothers too busy washing up
to see how much booze Dad can sup.
The kids have gone their separate ways
without a single word of praise
For the preparation
their mum has single handed done.
It is the same thing every year
Nobody sees that it’s not fair.
To leave it all to poor old mum
A little help would be welcome.
At least that how it used to be
But this year Mum has broken free.
She has decided she will stay
in an hotel for Christmas day
Where she will be waited on
.She left a not to say she’s gone.
But carefully does not say where
nor when she’s coming home again.
She decided to declare
and by her action make it plain.
That in the future she must be
treated very differently.
I am quite sure the family
will realise shamefacedly.
That mothers are entitled to
expect the family to assist
When there is so much work to do.
She knows how much she will be missed.
Although she goes reluctantly
She is quite sure she is correct
to try and show the family.
That in the future she’ll expect
every one to play their part
and offer their help willingly
It’s time to make a brand new start

Magic for me
Magic make no sound
It good for me
It good for me underground
Magic on me
Really got me down
Invade the city
It make my heart beat no sound
Beat no sound
Beat no sound (ooh ooh ooh ooh)
Beat no sound
Beat no sound
Beat no sound (ooh ooh ooh ooh)
And let me tell myself
Tell on
She turned my dad on
She turned my dad on
Dad on
Dad on!!!
Magic for me
Magic get me through
We pledge it money
People seem to walk through you
Magics funny
Magic get me through
All good for me
When people seem to always walk through you
Walk through you
Walk through you (ooh ooh ooh ooh)
Walk through you
Walk through you
Walk through you (ooh ooh ooh ooh)
Walk through you
Walk through you
And let me tell myself
Tell on
She turned my dad on
She turned my dad on

Let’s Annoy Dad
I have a plan, I have a plan
I said as I washed my paw
Dad will come home and we'll all want some grub
He'll just walk by our dishes
And say, 'No yet.'
If we do it, right
He'll give us some grub
Maybe even some crunchies as well
The two boys raised their heads
'How’s all this going to happen? ' Arthur asked.
'If we annoy dad, I'm sure he'll give in.'
I replied with a grin.
'How do you suppose we annoy him? ' Arthur asked again.
'First I take his pencil and get him out of his chair
And he'll follow me.
We'll plant a toy mouse
So he can tred on. Barney can cry
Say look at my wagger
Dad being soft will give him a cuddle.
He will then give him some treats.
Knowing Dad, he will give us all treats.
Nipping away, I planted the mouse.
Barney curled up and lay to one side.
I pinched Dad’s pencil and ran.
Dad stepped on the mouse and stopped.
Barney cried on queue.
Dad reached down, picked him up,
gave him a cuddle.
Barney sang as he tickled him under his chin.
He carried him to the bed and put him down.
“There you go Barney, ” and stroked him again.
I dropped the pencil and fled down the stairs.
Dad picked up his pencil, ignoring me,
went back to his writing his poetry.
The plan didn't work the way I expected.
No treats, no crunchies, no nothing.
The boys looked at me as I entered the room.
“So much for your plan.” Barney said.
“Watch how mine goes and learn.”
Jumping off the bed, he went in Dad’s room.
He sat beside Dad, raised a shredder to his knee.
Dad moved him away gently time and again.
Finally Dad gave in, came down stairs.
He picked up our dished one, two and three.
Went to the cupboard where crunchies are kept.
Brought out a tin and put mush in each dish
Food at last.
I must remember how Barney did it.

Needing Advice
(Son) Hey, Dad, have you got a minute? Actually
it's a little complicated. Could you meet me
at Cuss from Hoe over a beer or two?
(Dad) Now you have got me worried, big spender.
What's up?
(Son) I need some advice.
(Dad) O.K., see you in about twenty minutes.
(Dad) Well, son, I think I need something stronger
than two beers.
Are you sure he is dead?
(Son) Yeah, he is not breathing.
(Dad) And he is in your apartment?
(Son) Yeah, he came downstairs to watch the ball game. We
had a couple of beers and I fell asleep on the couch.
Next thing, I wake up and there he is lying on the floor
in a pool of blood.
(Dad) And he is still there?
(Son) Yeah, he is dead, Dad. He can't leave.
(Dad) Did he ever pay you back the money he owed you, that you owe me.
(Son) No, that's why I checked his wallet to see if that was his
intention, to pay me back.
(Dad) And what did you find?
(Son) His wallet was empty, nothing in it.
How do I explain that to the cops, Dad?
(Dad) Holy Moley, how do you get yourself into these messes?
We've got to throw his wallet in the river, get back to
your place, break a window, empty your wallet, and after
I have punched you out, I'll call the police.
(Son) Thanks, Dad, I knew you'd think of something,
except Gus at Cuss from Hoe heard us talking.
(Dad) Yeah, but he was the only one there and he owes me
$20 grand. He said he'll pay me tonight.
Want to take care of it?

Closest Thing To Heaven
28 days of rain
Flash floods in February
Back in our boats again
Bath water and the baby
What am I gonna do?
There's been a lot of drinking
Looking at ghosts of you
While all the world is sinking
10.000 miles into the atmosphere
My body shakes
Is there a welcome here?
Closest thing to heaven
How do you do it?
Closest thing to heaven, heaven
Throw your arms round the world
Make love your destination
Here we go boys and girls
Act like a generation
Give me that ball and chain
By now it must be hurting
Dragging your feet again
Just like a beast of burden
When one and one and one make two
I know I'm high because I've captured you,
yeah
Closest thing to heaven
Yeah, it's you
Closest thing to heaven, heaven
Look the world right in the eye
Eat the countries that are making billions
Sweet as homemade apple pie
Saved by crumbs for all the starving millions, yeah
Closest thing to heaven
Closest thing to heaven
How do you do it?
Closest thing to heaven
Uhh, hey
Closest thing to heaven

Mighty Mum!
As Mighty Mum prepared her day,
Her little list grew long,
But she cast all her doubts away,
My word, she's really strong!
Her faith was but a mustard seed,
A teeny-weeny thing,
Yet she knew where such faith could lead,
What wonders God could bring!
As Mighty Mum, with kids in tow,
Drove onwards to their school,
She prayed their minds would someday know
That love's the Golden Rule...
If not for love, she'd stand no chance!
Her powers soon would fade...
She knew God's powers would enhance
To help her make the grade...
As Mighty Mum kissed kids bye-bye,
She waved then bid farewell,
To speed along, morale still high,
As if saved by the bell...
Now orf to work! So orf she went
Intent to do her best,
Where every one was like a friend
By whom she was impressed...
As Mighty Mum arrived on time,
She organised each task,
As if each mountain meant to climb
And folks had but to ask...
She toiled and toiled and toiled and toiled,
Yet teamwork worked O.K.
Such that each setback had been foiled!
Yeah, praise the Lord! Hoorah!
As Mighty Mum left work once more,
The shopping must be done!
She'd saved a fortune that's for sure!
In fact, she thought it fun!
Then she drove home, then made the tea,
Then heard the mobile phone...
'Hey, Mighty Mum! It's half-past-three!
We're still at school alone! '
As Mighty Mum left home again,
She made her way to school,
She knew kids don't forget this when
Their Mum thinks she's so cool...
But Mighty Mum had come this far!

There's no end too my life
There's no end too my life
As a mother and wife!
Mum! ! ! Where's my shoe
Son! you're making me blue
Mum! ! ! Can I have a lolly?
Son! Stop mucking about in the trolley.
Mum! ! ! Can we go park…
Son! It's going, dark…
Mum - No it isn't - Mum!
Yes, it is son!
No it isn't - Mum! ! !
There's no end too my life
As a mother and wife!
O Love! Where are my socks…?
Darling… I don't know. Love, set the clocks
Love! Pass me the remote…
Yes, darling… Love! Can you make some tea?
O Love! ! Run me a bath
Yes.
…darling…
He sees her seething wrath…
As finally she rests and sleeps at last.
Mum! ! ! Mum! ! ! Mum! ! !
Johnnies being sick…?
There's no end too my life
As a mother and wife!
