Big Brother Knows more About You Now

Humankind has come far in technology so very far 'twould seem
Back in the nineteen fifties of such achievements we dared not dream
In this age of the computer Big Brother reigns supreme
To him we have become as visible as fish in a clear pool of a sunlit stream.

Big Brother knows more about you now than he has ever known before
And he watches every move you make even from a distant shore
He knows your inner secrets into your soul he see
With the aid of the computer and modern technology.

Big Brother not a benign character he has never been that way
He judge you for your opinions and everything you say
Goes into his computer a dossier on you he create
For Government Bureaucrats for to use against you in some future date.

The pinnacle of human achievements we are told we have not seen
And Big Brother is more powerful now than he has ever been
With the aid of modern technology he looks into your soul
And the loss to us of privacy is beyond our control.

I'd Like To Know More About Nature

I'd like to know more about Nature for of Nature so little i know
Though we see the beauty she creates and the beautiful things she does grow
Her rill that is born by the mountain flows downland by many a hedgerow
And it swells into a mighty river and on towards the ocean does flow.

I'd like to know more about Nature for Nature is an amazing thing
The song bird who sings in your garden sings the same song his father did sing
This is just one wonder of Nature how a small bird remembers a song
And passes it on through his genes to his offsprings a secret that to Nature belong.

I'd like to know more about Nature for of Nature i know little at all
Though i just like billions of others can recognize some birds and animals by their call
Great human minds have studied Nature but they only do learn to realize
That there is far more to our Earth Mother far more to her than meets our eyes.

I'd like to know more about Nature though i look at her every day
She guards her secrets with secrecy and from us she hides them away
And those who say they know all of Nature are those who do broadcast a lie
And Nature she lives on forever and we like all of her life forms must die.

More To Us Than That

By michael mcdonald
You say sometimes you feel like searchin
For what you think you need
If you go searchin for lifes reward
Youll wind up sailin the seven seas
cause here and now when lightning strikes
And it drives us to our knees
Only then do we realize
What we dont always see
That even now in our darkesr hour
Weve got the whole universe in our hands
Of all the choices we could make
If we do the lovin thing
Someday when we look back on this
I doubt if well remember much
About the times we hurt each other
The reasons we forgot to trust
Theres more to us than that
Sometimes I may try to be
Though I know Im not your answer
But Im not your problem either baby
In that way were all the same
And I know if I surrender
Its a lesson we must learn
A simple truth we can understand
Someday when we look back on this
Far enough away to see
That the most we could ask of this life
The best that we can hope to be
Is to be grateful for love so clear
Like a mirror reflects your face
If you search for the tracks of your tears
I know you wont find a trace
Theres more to us than that
Every single tear
Every shattered dream
Theyre just like pieces of a puzzle
Of themselves not what they seem
Even in our darkest hour
I doubt if well remember much
About the times we hurt each other
The reasons we forgot to trust

There Is More To Life Than Work

There is more to life than work
Because if you only work
You won't have the time to enjoy life
And you will be the slave of money

Argue no more about it

Argue no more about it,
Man’s crude and foolish mind, and that alone,
Hath taught this tale of many gods:

It is a lie:

For God is One,
One only:

And unto Him,
The One,
My soul shall sing her praise.

I Got A Lot More From God Than You

I got a lot more from God than you
Because I worship God
And I believe in God
But you believe in God just a little bit
And you worship the devil and not God
And that is why you got very litte from God
Go ahead and admit it
But don't be shy when you admit it

There Is More In Me Than Words Can Say

THERE IS MORE IN ME THAN WORLDS CAN SAY

There is more in me than worlds can say
More in you-
Yet in a world where so many so many things
And so much waits to be read
Who can really say
Something that means the Universe?
Even God has come to seem only one voice among many
On this discordant earth-
And we the children of so many silences
Cannot stop ourselves hearing and making our own sounds in the noise

Men More A Fool Than Beasts

Whenever the food was served to a dog,
It was done after a stroke of the bell.
The sight of the food induced its saliva.
The sound of the bell induced the saliva.

When the bell rang with no food to follow
Then too came out the saliva from it.
Women excite men; things they wear excite.
Names they bear excite; so do female voice.

Man is conditioned by sex perversion.
Women not in sight, then too will excite
Him anything that sounds feminine.
More a fool than a dog is the learned man.

But More Of Less Than Even

Violence begets violence.
There is not a podium delivered speech,
That will end atrocities!
Those easily flattered,
Are quick to hoodwink.
And drained of birthright resources.
Tricking the witless into believing...
A substandard way of life is envied.
And every ounce of demented common sense
Shown
Will restore things back to normal,
Whenever we all agree what that is!
And violence begets violence,
By getting nothing...
But more,
Of less than even that's left to deny.
And squander like vagrants...
Making homes for maggots!

More To Me Than A Valentine

You're more to me than a valentine
And I hold you in my heart
My love for you will always shine
And I hope we never part

To know that you'll be always mine
Will satisfy my soul
You etched yourself on my lifeline
And then my heart you stole

Your beauty makes the stars align
A sight for sorest eyes
You're nothing shorter than divine
An angel in disguise

You give a love that feels so fine
Like no one else could show
You're more to me than a valentine
And I'll never let you go

There's More To Me Than Meets The Eye

There's more to me than meets the eye
Look closely, I too also cry
There's more to me than meets the eye
I swear to God and that's no lie
There's more to me than meets the eye
Get a chance to know me then decide
There's more to me than meets the eye
What the eyes percieves isn't always right
There's more to me than meets the eye
I'll be that guy on whom you can always rely
There's more to me than meets the eye
I still believe in love, happiness and rainbows in the sky
There's more to me than meets the eye
Behind all this, I'm a shy guy
There's more to me than meets the eye
Give me a chance to be a part of your life
There's more to me than meets the eye
I'll give you my heart, in which you'll reside
There's more to me than meets the eye
I look into yours and feel alive
There's more to me than meets the eye
Reminicing on the first time we met, and those cheesy lines. To my face it brings a smile.
There's more to me than meets the eyes
Without you in my life I'd rather die
There's more to me than meets the eye
Now that I've told you, do you believe in us.

More About Me

I wish to write more about me
With colorful desires sitting under tree
My thought may be set and allowed to flee
Find some one of my choice and see

I wish not to live.
But nobody may believe
Human beings are not only selfish
But make end also fine finish

Ask even dying man
He will ask for beautiful woman
He will have still left some wishes
Even though his body may soon be reduced to ashes

Some of the life aspects really astonish
It might have remained our earnest wishes
Yet its fulfillment was under cloud
For we were not allowed to speak loud

Best way open for me was to write
Write for others but certainly to delight
As we are all governed greed and desires
So one needs to be prepared some kind of satires

I look at those creatures
How god has made them to reassure!
To remind us of beautiful world
Not for sale or never to be sold

See the flowers of gardens with colors
They have not changed or sought so far
See the beautiful smile on faces
As if nature is let loose in open race

I write about love, tragedy and pain
Agony, deception, treachery all comes in chain
They come, disappear and strike again
Again come back to make it beautiful with rain

I am 'hasmukh'* by name but may be irrelevant
The name was adopted by poor parent
I was to bring happiness and joy in family
No one knew about future to look it silly!

There is More to Life than Love

Starved and famished,
I looked up to him
morsels of consolation
he offered me…
to the inconsolable me?
like breadcrumbs
to a beggar…

The pain goes away
comes back again,
like the everyday sun
shining and setting…
holding my tears
I try to smile
as much as I can…
to make ‘everyone’
happy…
words freezing out
can’t write as before
inexpressive to him,
inadequately so…

Sometimes, I do write
making him feel ‘good’
lest he feels he’s hurt me…
his silence did it all…
he never knew
I would be hurt that bad…
he couldn’t care less,
he didn’t love me; I did…

He was used to the girls
who never said a word
and accepted him,
for he ‘listened’ to them,
so he says…
yet never responded,
like he did to me…
asking me to accept him,
the way he was

It was difficult…
Plausible: I thought
and so I tried,
for the sake of love…
trying to be
like his ‘other girls’…

Failed miserably
ended up hurt,
my heart so bruised,
it never stops bleeding…
a gaping abyss
wrenching me out…
seeking ‘closed doors’
I vent my anguish…
ceaseless tears that just wouldn’t stop
the gash so deep…
will it ever fill up?

There is more to life than love
Get over it and Get over him
I helplessly wonder:
But How…?
The questioning continues…
So does the suffering…
I seek respite,
yet the pain clings back…
The days, the months, the years
of incessant longing
and deathly silence
have taken their toll…
a past with no future?
Forgiving is easy…
Forgetting? Never, ever…

There Is More To Life Than Hard Work

I can't say my life's been a great life that I've been there and I've done that
But I worked in pipe laying crew for Michael Kelleher in Buninyong near Ballarat
And I worked in the late eighties for a firm called C.D.L.
Jack hammering in the heat of Summer when the days were hot as hell.

101 Collins Street Melbourne I remember that address
Not that I enjoyed the work there I remember none the less
Up each morning at five thirty then to work on tram I'd go
And left that building site each evening covered in dust head to toe.

Another four years as tree clearer up by powerlines clearing trees
Operating a cherry picker for such you don't need degrees
For a Travel tower company a growing concern managed by a greedy lot
They still owe me two weeks wages something I have not forgot.

Up working mornings at five thirty between work and travel a twelve hour day
Whilst my so called bosses made their millions I took home bare living pay
Now I take it nice and easy and I'm well off now as I was then
If your bosses make their millions for you there can't be a win

I worked as tree feller in Ireland far away and long ago
In the high woods by the mountains where the peaks wear hats of snow
Most Winter days were wet and chilly up to April not much sunshine
Only sound the cold wind soughing in the larch and spruce and pine.

'Hard work never did anybody harm' to coin that phrase it took a fool
Hard work your life's bound to shorten you can overwork a mule
Hard working Joe is dead at fifty, Pete on welfare living on
Pete five years older and quite healthy he's still here and Joe is gone.

Maybe I've drudged for a few years but I'm not proud of that at all
And if my life has got one highlight such as now I can't recall
And if one tell me how hard he work I tell him my watch is slow
And I'm late for an appointment 'see you later got to go'.

'Ned the basher' at his local like to sing his praises loud
And boast of the hard work he's done to an uninterested crowd,
He's proud to show his work callouses he must have an empty life
But he never once did mention how he often beats his wife

There is more to life than hard work, work to live but not to die
And if you labour hard poor fellow life you never can enjoy
If your boss is making millions and you take home bare living pay
Maybe you should have a re-think and perhaps give the job away.

My computer

Here is my dearest friend computer.

It is much more cuter than anybody else.

And... it is certainly my best tutor.

I sometimes feel nervous or sad

And it is always neutor, my computer.

But sometimes it behaves like an executer

Showing the things I don't like

Thinking I am just a looker.

It keeps mute as a fish, my computer.

But puts me sometimes into a fluter.

Oh, my dearest computer!

It is such a cure and even rude.

And behaves like a lure.

It can be ruder than anything else

Then I am in a stupor.

But...it is still my super.

It is my best curator.

It gives me a cue or something new.

The rest about it I'll tell you later.

More Than This

There must be more than this.
An empty existence whehere everythings amiss.
Senseless violence strikes out with an empty fist.
Holding no useful things, to hate they cling.
Everyone out for number one.
Only caring about themselves.
Never there to help anyone else.
Unless they'll get something in return.
A narssacistic selfishness that deeply burns.
Ever on the world does turn.
There must be more to life than this.
The pursuit of money, this image we kiss.
We worship only this.
The goodness of the world away we've pissed.
There truly must be more than this.
A better life on which we've missed.
Helping eachother through the mist.
Through the fear and pain and vanity lain.
To find their way and make a better day.
There must be more that we can do.
If we don't we're worthless fools.
Bound to lose for what we choose.
It's time we finally paid our dues.

It's More Than Something You Can Intellectualize

There's a lot more to caring than knowing
There's a lot more to caring than saying
There's a lot more to caring than thinking
You can 'know' you care
Think you care
Convince yourself you care, even think that you genuinely care
But that really isn't fair
If your actions don't match
The attitude of caring
The attitude of loving
It's more

It's more than those who love you
More than those who care for you
It's the ones who don't
It's the ones you don't know
It's those, it's them, they need you most
You can't just walk away
Caring is more than something you can think about
You can't be compassionate and ignore a need
You can't fulfill every need
Where is compassion?

Where is caring?
If it's so much more, what is it that we have?
Is it worth trying?
Won't you fail?

But you forget
Caring is more

It's more than something you can intellectualize
It's more than a concept
It's more than thinking
More than knowing
More than even an action
Caring is a lifestyle
For all those around you
Even beyond yourself

O and one more thing caring isn't about caring about
Yourself.
