Slavery

Slavery be a bane to all mankind
As been so throughout the ages
After every invasion, slavery you find
Plain folk confined in rusting cages

Not long ago;

Spanish punished with rods and whips
Friars and Jesuits demanded toil
Later Europeans;
Kidnapped Africans, moved in ships
To waiting hands who did be-spoil

Today debt be the slavers preferred tool
Usury/foreclosure the banker's norm
With trickery and inflation they fool
Complaints met with men in uniform

More misery to come ‘lest more awaken
With "Debt amnesty" quickly declared
Evil deeds end when tree is shaken
With truth and justice no longer spared

(In The News) Human Trafficking And Slavery

something that should have gone out
with the dark ages 'still rages'.

human trafficking and slavery for the almighty dollar
and no one to hear the screams and hollers.

young children being forced into prostitution
and not one country with a solution.
parents selling their children to get out of debt
just to make ends meet
a problem which they can not defeat.

yet we classify ourselves as humane?
now that's a crying shame.

if your mother or father was sold as a slave
is that the road that you would pave?

they steal the most precious things
from these boys and girls.
their innocence and their childhood
and turn around and say it's good!

these people say that it's too late
and of no use, to try to stop this
worldwide abuse.

maybe it's time for noahs ark
to reappear, and instill in their hearts
the almightys fear.

but the LORD had done this once before
and we had found another door.
so i guess the solution is not
just for the LORD to decide.

but for all of humanity to see
that this destruction has exceeded their realities.

the LORD has to soften our hearts
and weaken our minds
in the hopes that we will find
all the values we left behind.

Poverty is slavery

Poverty is slavery
He who loves money
Must also labor
First learn how to obey
Then you start to command

Slavery and rivalry.

Slavery cannot be wiped out
As long as there are men around women.
Rivalry cannot be ruled out
As long as there are men around women.

Slavery moments

Praise not one in front to gain.
Beg not one to reap.
Seek not mercy to escape.
Be not a sheep to feel safe.
Those are slavery moments.

Slavery and jealousy

To hail one on his victory
Is from the sense of slavery.
To nail one on his victory
Is from the sense of jealousy.

You are caught in between.

Slavery perpetuates

Slaves are those
Who, when oppressed by the tyrant,
Doesn’t retaliate against him
And instead,
Will crush in turn those beneath them.
Slavery thus perpetuates.

Love is a slavery

Slavery is there, in some form, everywhere.
Love, too, is a kind of slavery, unable to desist,
Unable to deny, and is tamed in blind pursuit.
A monarch, too, is a slave to his concubine.

Slavery is not drudgery.

Virtually I can’t defy
What my little grandson dictates.
I am a slave to him.
Willingly I can’t disobey
What the woman of my love wants.
I am a slave to her.
Slavery is not at all drudgery.
Being a slave is exuberant.

Pay back your debt

No, no, no, no, no
Don't say it your own
Don't give yourself air
Just stay calm and feel good
Debt is always debt
It's a temorary help
You have to pay it back
You can't call it your own
It's sheer dishonesty
You will be called a dishonest man.

Still practiced in the world today!

On innocent women n' children they prey

The Debt

Marie Antoinette
Wan countenance set
With gunge
Sits mute at toilette
And dabs with a wet
Sea sponge
Now settle the debt
False charge, dark as jet
Expunge.

Cart avidly met
The creditors fret
And lunge
Then recompense whet
Slant iron is let
To plunge!
Wan countenance set
Marie Antoinette.

The Debt

This is the debt I pay
Just for one riotous day,
Years of regret and grief,
Sorrow without relief.
Pay it I will to the end --
Until the grave, my friend,
Gives me a true release --
Gives me the clasp of peace.
Slight was the thing I bought,
Small was the debt I thought,
Poor was the loan at best --
God! but the interest!

Slavery

I free the slaves of the desert,
They march through sand and stone;
Walking too much is prohibited,
Once they fail, once they crawl.

A freedom is sought, fully aware
Of the possibilities, the wrecks;
Anything of conquest is both
Understood and learnt.

Like the slavery of times too long ago,
We too gain slaves to be taught liberty.

In Debt So Deep

Once I had been enslaved,
To maintain a good credit rating.
And doing my best to keep,
Timely payments monthly kept.

Then one day a storm came and left.
Loosening a hold to allow peace,
Within me...
To let go of a smothering I chose.

Acknowledging,
I no longer had to prove my patriotism.
I was in debt so deep...
My being a true American no one could doubt.

Freedom, Or Slavery!

what we face...
is the ignorance of the gun!
the censor's immoral judgements,

the greed that takes
at the expense of need.
the patriotic drunkenness

that justifies without thought.
the violent fear that brutalizes
different skin color, different views!

the stink of the power
that crushes the voices
of our own children....

the final choice....
freedom, or slavery!

Karmic Debt

If someone steals from you
and becomes your foe—
There is one thing you should know.
if you seek revenge things could go wrong.
You then have a karmic debt to surely repay
if not in this life then another life faraway.
Hold up to your karmic obligation
for you want to evolve
Better to take the high road
realize this before you get too old.
