Sense Of Humor For Reece Kay

i laugh so hard about your joke
i'll take the hints
of the sneeze and the orgasms
and the tissue
and some pepper
the woman on the the train with you,

now laugh,

i also laugh with you, yet not knowing me
really
we are miles apart, and you with your
present problems
losing one of your identities

this danny reynolds, you tell me
i do not have they say
this sense of humor,
Loll
Lol,

it is unjust to say the least,
in my country one day
i was admitted to the maternity hospital
on bloated stomach
filled with laughter
they think
i am pregnant.

(ulol!)

oh, lol!

Laugh Out Loud

Have we lost our sense of humor?
We must laugh on every day.
For without laughter life is dull
Like a stage without a play.

Funny little quips that people say
are the gems that sparkle and shine
Right within a placid soul
that's in need of bright sunshine.

So laugh inside, laugh out loud,
Laugh whenever you can.
And when you think you've laughed too much,
laugh out loud again.

A Sense of Humor

No man should stand before the moon
To make sweet song thereon,
With dandified importance,
His sense of humor gone.

Nay, let us don the motley cap,
The jester's chastened mien,
If we would woo that looking-glass
And see what should be seen.

O mirror on fair Heaven's wall,
We find there what we bring.
So, let us smile in honest part
And deck our souls and sing.

Yea, by the chastened jest alone
Will ghosts and terrors pass,
And fays, or suchlike friendly things,
Throw kisses through the glass.

Sense of Humor

I don't understand?
What's not to be believed?
You have never been told the truth...
And now you are seeking clarity?
How would you recognize it?
You have shown me no evidence.

I provided you the comfort of calling me a fool!
If I truthfully believed that...
I would not be here now staring in the face of one!
You may have made fun of me at my expense,
But I'm the one that's been laughing all this time.

OH...
I get it now.
You thought I was laughing 'with' you and the others,
Laughing at me?
No...
I'm not sadistic.
I have a sense of humor myself.

Severe Sense of Humor

I had to walk across
all the sorrows fate had stored for life
I was shot down
by all the unprecedented and sudden strikes.

I stood for a while(and)
rued all the miscalculated mishaps
touched the certain parts of my canvas.
I walked away with a stern smile.

Almighty seems to have
a sense of humor
very practical, very majestic
yet somehow interestingly severe.

A severe sense of humor
a thought to savor
somehow seems almost
human behavior.

Yet divine is the word
magnified sense of divinity
gives us a less fogged view
belief is much better than scrutiny.

Im Gonna Laugh You Out Of My Life

(cy coleman, joseph allen mccarthy)
Im gonna laugh you right out of my life,
Laugh, and forget this affair
Guess I was foolish
To care.
So Im gonna dance you right out of my dreams,
Try to be carefree and gay
I guess Ill learn to play
The part.
cause when our friends begin that
Heartless rumor,
I know Ill really need my
Sense of humor.
Im gonna laugh you right out of my life,
Make it a beautiful joke.
No one will know you broke
My heart.
But if I find you and i
Really meant that last goodbye,
Then Im gonna laugh so hard,
Ill cry.
~interlude~
But if I find you and i
Really meant that last goodbye,
Then Im gonna laugh so hard...
Ill cry.

Essence Of Sense Of Humor

It’s the rarest of the commodities
It’s a gift possessed by few
Yes I’m talking about sense of humor
It has an essence that’s absolutely new
People having this rarest quality
Can turn the things all upside down
Making a mockery of most serious cases
They would hardly let you frown
That’s the color it brings to life
That’s the essence of sense of humor
The energy it brings to others and self
Is way beyond all jokes and rumor

You can master the circumstances
You can nullify the negativity
You need not be a professional
It’s only a matter of creativity
It diffuses the negative energy
And infuses the positive
It gives us a new direction
To be a little more sensitive
All tears can turn to smiles
With a small pinch of humor
People will remember you forever
That’s the essence of sense of humor.

God's Sense of Humor

God has a sense of humor and
If you have time I have a tale.

In military basic training land
The youngsters - not always young -
Always come to chapel..
It is the only place where they are free
Loosed temporarily from the fetters of their captivity.
Basic is a place of pressure and of pain
Access to the military a goal to be gained.
The process lasts about twelve weeks
Twelve being the number choosen by our greatest teacher.

One Christmas eve with help from wife
Her intent being to help ease my preaching strife
A great sermon was spoken to the uniformed throng
Their attentiveness told me absolutely nothing was wrong.
A great sermon preached to a sea of faces
A little less pain in one of God's strange places.

But the best was yet to be
For God's sense of humor held a gift for me
That in that night of greatest pastoral power
A goal of rich adolescent vision had come to flower.

Sense Of Humor

You will like my sense of humor
You will be addicted to my smile
Laughing all the while
And I will end each conversation
I will leave the room with upper hand
And you will understand
You will find my scent attractive
You will like my real, engaging eyes
And playful, childlike smile
You will find my style appealing
I will overpower you with wits
And I will be a hit
If only you'd run to me
If only you'd come to me
If only you'd relax upon your rules
And dare to be love's fool
If only you'd come for me
If only you'd run to me
If only you'd relax upon those rules
And dare to be love's fool
Waking up from a coma (tossing, turning)
Sweat has covered my body (my mouth felt dry)
My life flashing before me (nothing much to say)
Still it was so boring (did you hear me sing?)
Only I could adore you (the wind through the trees)
Silently barking orders (rushing up to me)
This is only beginning (don't anger the sea)
Oh, the wave's crashing higher and higher on me
Crash, crash, crash, crash
If only you'd relax upon your rules
And dare to be love's fool
If only you'd run to me
All the blinking lights, noise of eternity (if only you'd come to me)
All the sentences swirling inside of me (you will like my sense of humor)
Inside of me (and dare to be love's fool)
(If only you'd come to me)
I have censored my eyes, I get drawn through my ears (if only you'd run to me)
Redirected desire now
It comes out as tears (you will like my sense of humor)
You know, it comes out as tears (and dare to be love's fool)
You will like my sense of humor
You will like my sense of humor

A Walmart Parking Lot

To laugh at life
You have to have,
A perpetual sense of humor.

If you laugh,
They say,
The life you live,
Will potentially,
Last much longer.

I am sitting in the dark,
Stranded,
In a Walmart parking lot,
And finding it,
Hard to laugh.

I cannot see the humor in,
My current situation.
I am desperately in need,
Of some comic revelation.

Then suddenly,
It dawns on me.
And I can see,
My poetry,
Is witty confirmation.

With words and rhyme,
I laugh at me,
And thus embrace,
Salvation.

From A Through Z

Any emotion you want.
Anything read you'd like to experience,
And/or see!
I've got it here for you...
From A...all the way through to Z!
I've been watching you,
And you have had your eye on me.
You should know I enjoy to thrill your mind...
With something you can find,
For these days and times!

You like to eat?
I've got recipes.
Suspense?
I have a few 'pieces' that will tease.
What about sex and violence?
The most disgusting of those,
Of these will please!

Are you into the church,
And love to pray?
I love God myself...
And I pray everyday!
How about just silly stuff,
That makes no sense at all?
I have a sense of humor...
Sometimes I laugh until onto the floor I crawl!

Sweet love poems about broken hearts?
Some of my best,
Have left my keyboard wet!
Trying to write tearjerkers takes a lot of sweat!
Writing that stuff ain't easy!

Seasonal outlooks and holiday greetings?
I love the freshness of Spring.
Summer activities...
And Fall and Winter scenes!
And in New England?
What majestical offerings these seasons bring!
A tasty treat of eyepoppers.

I've got conflicts and gossip and pointless war.
With racist visions too!
If you those you choose to explore.
And children's lullabys with topics to make you cry!
Whatever you decide,
And whatever it may be.

I wish to please with an understanding.
And from A through Z...
I hope you will find 'something' there.
Something you weren't aware of...
That now makes you see.
And turn your frown into a smile...
With a touch of happiness,
And perhaps some glee!

I'd like to share with you my understanding!
Not necessarily have you agree,
With me...
At all!
But,
I am hopeful!

A Good Horse Laugh

It looked like an abandoned house
No windows or any doors
Just gapping holes instead
And worn wooden floors

But nestled within the walls
Were friends who lived in there
They moved right in and then
With the facilities they would share

Lucky was one fellow’s name
He was friendly as you please
He had a sense of humor too
And loved to taunt and tease

He coaxed his shy buddy out
And we chatted back and forth
Such charming personalities
I enjoyed this world of horse

Oh yes, it was a pleasant day
Especially the first half
When we visit with our new friends
And had a good horse laugh!

Remember Me

Remember that raucous laugh, often too loud
That could bother a few or bolster a crowd.
Then that sense of humor that would prevail
Replacing that old grouchy man’s veil.

As for the rest of my shortcomings and thoughtless crimes,
I hope you’ll replace them with memories of good times.
Like the family gatherings where we all laughed and played
And enjoyed true happiness from the emotions conveyed.

It’s not sadness, but gladness that defines this day.
I am at peace knowing I have traveled with you all this way.
Most of all as my soul rejoices with the stars above,
Please remember I’ll live on through your spirit of love.

Knowing you might some day come

Knowing you might some day come
and how unprepared I’ve always
been
like Mr. Sloppy
in Charles Dickens’
our Mutual Friend
I made a list:
not meat, vegetables, beer and pudding
but number l, warmth.
number 2, warmth.
number 3, warmth.
number 4, a good snuggler.
number 5, someone who sings
while he/she works.
number 6, a dancer.
number 7, someone who grows & is
intrigued by
the mind. And
by the spirit too.
Number 7, someone who is loved
by animals; and loves
them back without
a thought.
number 8, someone who smells
delicious.
number 9, someone whose anger
lasts no longer than mine.
number 10, someone who
stands beside me. behind me. If necessary
in front of me.
number 11, someone who
is a passable cook.
number 12, Someone who laughs
a lot, thinks I have a fine
sense
of humor
& has friends.
number 13, someone who can be
original in dress:
stylish
warlock –In silver, lapis
& black – to my witch.

Art of Humor

The parody, the comic
The irony, the slapstick
The comedy, the joke
There are many names of humor

A little flirt, a bit sway
A random bait, a strike catch
A prick of crack, a needed pain
So far we go just for humor

Because it is fun, because it is crazy
Because it is refreshing, because it brings laugh
Lightening the mood, building emotion
Always use humor in a good way

The situation, the mimic
The trap, the surprise
The movement, the style
Only human could understand humor

The witty question, the innocence answer
The spontaneous expression, the awaited performance
The dilemma, the mistake
Everything could turn into humor

To tease, to distract
To criticize, to attract
To break the ice, to open the gag
Don't take humor too serious

In critical condition, in awkward moment
In relaxing time, in happy hour
In strange fact, in life experience
Do you know that God also has a sense of humor?

I really hate sitcoms on television with canned laughter and stuff. What really makes me laugh is the real-life stuff. I've got a dry sense of humor.
