Holocaust Poem

I am a survivor of a holocaust
The horror of which
most people could not imagine.
I was brutally beaten and raped by an S.S officer
Then packed in a train
going to the gas chambers of Auschwitz
As if I was a sardine
Not a human being.
If my rapist was still alive
I would tell him
You violated my body
But you did not rape my soul.
Because I am a survivor
I refuse to give you the satisfaction
of fitting my heart
with a pace maker.
Life beckons for me

I'm a survivor

I'm a survivor of sexual, physical, and mental abuse for many years. I've searched for help from a lot of people and nobody has figured out my signs and yelling out of attention for help.

I'm a survivor cutting and being suicidal. taking 17 pills of seraquel in September 2007 almost dieing in the hospital with my family sitting next to me as i lay there half asleep almost dieing.

I'm a survivor of pain and depression. I've had a bad childhood and some bad parents. My surviving is because of people believing in me. My family caused most of my pain and depression. I'm not trying to blame but its the truth. Sometimes i still think I'm suffering from pain and depression. I try so hard not to slip into relapse. I must be really important to people and God because I'm a real survivor.

Rose

My mother planted roses and seemingly,
They never blossomed.
And twenty years after her death
Amidst grasses, weeds and wildflowers
Grew a white rose,
I am a white rose alone that
My mother never saw or would see-although perhaps
If she went to heaven she
Could possibly look down and
See a white flower blossoming but
Likely, she would not know it was a rose in bloom.
I am that rose that blossomed after
All of the other roses died-
An unexpected ice storm had killed them.
Weeds and wildflowers, were strong enough toSurvive the cold.
Roses are beautiful but delicate-Withering beneath inches of snow.
Amongst every group of living beings
Possibly killed by inclement weather or
Being treated badly and not properly raised or cared for-
Dying with no one trying to save their lives, remains a survivor.
I have been called the white rose, the survivor
Amongst the roses my mother planted,
That had sadly perished-
Today somebody picked me and placed me in a vase upon a table inside their home.
In a few days, my petals shall fall and
I shall be dead, gone, and disposed of.
I am or was a survivor but now I shall perish just as

This only goes to show that nothing lasts forever because of
