What Is in a Name?
This I have to justify, Hope as a girls name
Born in the morning dew, Faith I refuse to choose
This day is lovers day, yet Valentine is not my daughters name
Hope I still insist, to quench our lusting drive
I guess you will get me right, as I insist on Hope as a name
Convincing I may not sound today, but Hope it had to be
Thinking hard and hard to think, not to give you Val as a name
May be Valerie as a Pet name, but Hope remains your only name
Valentine was everyones choice, while Dad insisted on Hope
Understanding this may be hard for now, not bad for futures sake
Swallow this with ease my girl, as Hope is all I see
Swallow this I beg my girl, as Hope is what you portend
