The Peace You Bring Me
You remind me of peace the whisper of the trees, how the words float off the page in the love letters i send.
You remind me of peace what everyone hopes and fights for.
Once i hold you in my possession i always have to have more.
You remind me of peace the tenderness of that of a newborn childs touch.
How your love surrounds me like a soft comfortable blanket that your arms i long to be so much.
You remind me of peace the way you sweep me off my feet as gentle as a breeze.
having the power to make moments like this freeze.
And though there isn't peace within the world and although there will never be.
All the things that make you you bring peace inside of me.
