The Hollow Heart
I’ve lost you once and my heart bled
Never shall I forgive the unknown mind
All the words that he once said
The reasons he will never find
I’ve lost you twice but you came back
Again I was at ease
Facing once more the famous lack
Until getting down on my knees
I lost you a third
This time no words
Drowning in my sorrow
With a heart, hurt and hollow
I lost you for good
The greatness there is on earth
Never have I understood
Of your love persist the dearth
