I sway with the music
its beat thrumming
thrumming
beating so loud
i can feel it in my heart
my feet stamp
my hands twirl

i sway
with the music
the words are lost
in the music
all around me
bodies swaying
like me

i sway
i close my eyes
and feel the beat
pulsing
the lights in my eyelids
glow
a myriad of colors

i sway
twirling
spinning
rocking
stampi ng
swaying
with the music
the beat

i sway
i open my eyes
to see
i am alone
on the dance floor
one minute
in shocked silence
everyone staring
i close my eyes
and

i sway
