Sin of Humanity
Greed…
Born from glory,
Born from fame.
Control…
Stripping away
All that is known.
Faith…
Goodbye to Gods,
To ancient traditions.
Survive…
Only with love,
Strength through Family.
Pain…
Blood flows free.
A murderous blow.
Screams…
A blazing destruction,
And innocence undone.
Darkness…
Deceiving the eye,
Concealing the tears.
Sorrow…
Into the depths
Of sunless poverty.
Humanity when absorbed in greed,
It’s inner demons then are freed.
