Remember to smile
No matter what
There’s always a reason
To just smile
Can be so harsh
And last so long
The thunder is almost always
Severe and devastating
The winds may almost
Knock you over
The rain that pours
Seems to soak everything
But remember to smile
No matter what
There’s always that reason
If there be only one
The shining sun
Can be seen almost everywhere
A family that loves
Friends that care
A paying job
A place to sleep
Even the breath that fills
The lungs within your chest
So please, please
Remember to smile
No matter what
Enjoy and relish
In the blessings
That surround you
