Once we met in a naive swoon
Youthful dumb and thrilling
Pashed day an' all night through an'...
Once we met in an old saloon
Seats sticky with life's lust lived
And sipped all revved and brewin'.
Once we met in a cow herd mooin'
Gentle giants unsuspecting
From where cruel protien's hewn.
Once we met in a pool full moon
Slow dancing lips embraced
Hands 'n' souls each threw 'n.
Once we met in a time too soon
As always is, so was done full
And a harvest o' cherished two 'n'...
Once more we met in an afternoon
Of light and shadows wooin',
And petal soft and bouquet sweet
A kiss to the undoin'.
