Ode to the World
Human words cannot express your beauty
Even ‘Epic’ won’t be enough, I guarantee
Though you are quite spherical
And your resources drive humans hysterical
To me I see
A world with endless clarity
On your Land
Oh so grand
I see trees and the grass
All growing by the hourglass
Along with humans and species of fauna
Across the segments of magnificent Terra
The clouds way up there
Never looked oh so fair
The clouds of thunder
Looks as majestic as ever
What is lightning I say?
Get to close and die you may
Across to yonder view
The horizon acts like a glue
To the sky and to the sea
It is all so beautiful to me
Under the ocean is a world of blue
Where the air you breathe is absent
Go deep enough and say ‘Good bye’ to light too
Over there the world is different
But the beauty down there is beyond wonder
For some have not seen beyond yonder
The Land, the sea, the sky
Oh so low and so high
So large and magnificent
Looks so young, yet so ancient
So majestic for millions of years
So many happiness and so many tears
There is nothing more that I could have hurled
But only one ode to the world
