In The Eyes Of A Soldier

Everyday I stand up for whats right.
If there is something that needs to be done, I do it.
I fight for my life everyday.
Waiting for the victory bell, but still no sound.
Respect is what I deserve and serving my country is what I do.
Waiting for the call.
I wear the colors not because I have to, but because I'm proud.
I fight to keep my friends and loved ones safe.
It's a 24 hour job, but I have no regrets.
I am a soldier in so many ways.
The soldier life did not choose me.
I chose to become a soldier.
If I'm going to the frontline, I'll be ready.
I'm not afraid to die for my country.
I am strong!
