I wish it was yesterday. [[11/29/09]]
So the fighting begins
The arguments rise
The doors start slamming
Voices are lost from all the screaming
Tears are falling and crashing around our feet
I wish I didn't stay home today
I wish they stayed at my father's
I wish we could all just get along
I wish there wasn't so much fighting
I wish he would stop being a smart ass
I wish he would learn,
But I know none of this would happen
I know,
Because it never does
It's more of a routine we all seem to face
All I have to say is:
I hate today
and
I wish it was yesterday.
