I dreamed a dream
That we were together
And it made me happy.

That it was you and I
And it made me smile.
I dreamed a dream
When I no longer had to dream
And this made me happy.
I dreamed a dream
And it did not change reality.
Everything is the same.
I dreamed a dream
That I no longer dream
And it made me bitterly pleased.
