My people.
I got to war and

Die
For my fellow troops
And their families
And their friends
And their people.
I got to war and
Descend into hell and
Die
For you
And your family
And your friends
And your people.
Go to war for God and country, they said.
No, I said.
I will not go to war for God and country.
I will to go to war for mine and yours.
And God help those who oppose.
