Farewell Brother (War)
Farewell brother,
the time has come,
You will be sorely missed,
and your not the only one,
I shall never forget you,
nor the sacrifices you have made,
Put your life on the line and saved so many,
but you yourself could not be saved,
You've left me with such sadness,
I still remember all the good times we had,
If there was only some other way,
But you died for a cause, for a reason, for honor you always said,
I wish it didn't have to end this way,
If only I could speak to you just one more time,
And tell you how much I love and miss you brother,
this pain will never leave me far behind,
For the world, for just one wish, anything I would give,
To see that smile on your face just once more,
Your still here with me, part of my heart, mind and soul,
I want so badly to hear your knock upon my door,
Above and beyond the call of duty,
I'd give my life for you if only you could have stayed,
I am proud and honored to call you friend, and brother,
If only there could have been some other way,
There is a place in the stars just for you,
For fallen heroes, unlike any other,
A special place where your never forgotten,
Farewell, I will see you soon, I love you brother...
