Couage
its right around the corner
from al the first
and last times
the bad memories
as unforgetable
as a tornado
they'll shock u
and suprise u
and to all the wonderful moments
the first time u talked to me
was like the first light
like cupid had stuck me
with an arrow
and the first time u kissed me
when ur lips met mine
no more thinking
i had no more worries
and later
when everyone told you lies
trying to break us apart
still u stood
right by my side
they called u names
for being with me
but u never backed down
you never gave into them
and u always kept
loving me with no problem
later,
they faced u with
threats and death
but u had me
and i had u
when the silence came
and the sky above thundered
they were coming for you
but u faced them head on
with all your heart and soul
not a single tear
nor any rage
but all the courage in the world
you held every lil bit
and to me, it was outstanding
i couldnt help but smile
and hold your hand
you were so very perfect
in my eyes....
and as we stood there
awaiting death
i realized u saying me
wasnt courage at all
it was simply love
