But Still You Go On
you walked to school everyday
knowing that it's gonna be the same
same lessons, same teachers
but still you go on
you get to school
chatting to all your friends
same people, same conversations
but still you go on.
you get into a lesson
listening to the boring chatter
same subject, same seat
but still you go on
you walk home from school
going to your empty house
same place, same doorway
but still you go on
you go to bed
snuggle in your warm sheets
same room, same bed
but still you go on....
