Be Somebody
do good in school thats what i've been told
am i strong enough to follow my goals, am i bold?
be someone not trash
enjoy school too because it goes by in a flash
those are the words i have heard so many times
dont be stupid dont do a crime
it all adds to the stress
they say to bring them joy, bring success
my family tells me not to let them down
it is hard when your color is brown
but i shall try my best until i succeed
if i try hard enough, in life i shall exceed
