As the Future Takes Over the Past
What is the past,
but the past
And the present,
but the present?
It is the future that
one must focus on.
Release your past
let it roll off your shoulders
yet in the end if crying
is what you need to do,
then cry release
your sadness
release your
problems
Grasp the future
with both hands
and don't let go.
Feel the future
change you
and allow the change
to come as the future
takes over
the past
