A Rose of Summer
She is a Rose of Summer, a spirit of love
A rose among the thorns, so is my love for her among the crowd
An island in the terrifying sea, so is my offering for her
We sit down in our very hearts at rest, love like nectar
Embracing her in times of need in a blanket of passion
Stay with me my rose, for I am tired and weary of the world
Let me gaze into your heart, and live in paradise
I love you, my Rose of Summer, out of all the world
In these graceful fields, we'll stay until we please
