A Poem That Had Potential

In Despair he rode away,
leaving the world behind,
he thought he could bring the light,
but only a sealed door.
Idols crowded him,
Growling like a pack of Ravenous dogs, Â
Demanded his Way be gone from them.

So The Sage rode to find another way to spread his light,
But found only the want of Darkest Bliss.
Despair crushed his soul and his Way,
So he left them to their gold, to split from him and all.
With their adversary the idols are silent.
Now the people were empty and their minds collected mold.
Never to know the light they toiled away,
until the clocks final toll.
