A moment passed
that I'll never get back
a glimpse into something I knew
a glimpse into something
I felt to be real
A song, a lyric
an image
taking me in to something deep
inside of a dream
or a fantasy or a partial memory
a moment that reminded me
that I'm alive

then it was quiet again
