curling line of ants by my window
down to hardwood floor sloping
they didn't go to shortest distance
i put a line of vicks vaporub across
they're scattered and look confuse
soldiers on both sides took charge
i got enough for today, i must
press red button of spray, raid
they drown with death scented
air, i could imagine their muted
scream but my culture dictates
they are pest destin to eradicate
