Winter Show Your face
Symbolic of time and change another season melts away
thumped by the cold crossing wind and yesterday's struggles
are gone not forgotten.
As the snow whips about the land and dream you see barren
tree and pathetic leaf, the uneasy feeling and impending freeze.
People gear up for the harsher days.
Mind and body will be stressed when rattled by the winters's
fist must find some hardy heat within-stand up when the stormy
trend begins.
Throughout the humbled and desolate night nocturnal figures
assemble and disperse.They move music of the dead to humans
unheard.The weariness of souls must too get sleep.
Christmas bells, lights, ornaments hanging from that natural
monument buckets of cheer and goodwill towards men.Somehow
packed in the powder lies all our fears.
Trickling, trickilng do the icy blades when the sun pops out
extending warming rays on the rooftops of Ice Capades makes
the space around it seem brighter.
A vision, a picture of rugged beauty whenever the winter shows
it's face.
