Lies of The Light
Mislead by the lies of the light
For in the darkness so long
That the dimness seemed bright
So I walked down the path
Of deception and lies
the tears of pain
Turned to joy in my eyes
Who woul've known
That the brightness would fade
what I thought was the light
turned into shades of grey
leading me in directions
I couldn't believe
these eyes of mines
these eyes decieve
So i'm trapped in this light
excepting my fate
I can't see the way back
I can not escape
so I'll search for the darkness
where i'll continue to be
never trusting the light
for it lied to me
