Your Real Soul
Better to be
The servant of great men
Than the master
Of scoundrels;
Better to die
For a woman’s honor
Than be dishonored
In her eyes.
Life takes priorities
And the willingness
To accept sacrifice:
Once you’re dead,
Your real soul survives
In other peoples’ minds.
