Simple Clothes
When love is not enshrined
In unrealizable romantic notions,
But wears the simple clothes
Of ordinary kindness,
Then everybody’s face
Is as lovely
As July’s greatest rainbow
After a tempestuous storm.
Keep your heart warm
And see God
In the delicate smile
Of everyone.
