Ancient Romeo
In the tattoo valley of dreams,
I find her dark eyes shining
Into my soul.
How many times can I say
The word love
Until my desire bleeds
Into the amorous universe?
I’m the ancient Romeo
Sauntering sweetly beneath the moon
Digging her shoulders
In the starlight.
