Africans In Time
I heard they were fighting
the colonialism and oppression biting
shedding tears of ailing
and longing for rays of healing
Now i see them fighting
again roots of ruling
that have eaten their plains of living
like hyenas in dwelling
But now it's their kinsmen
not the white man
Asegai versus Asegai
and not the mighty canons
Africans in time
Every moment is ripe
the fruit of our style
is the glory of our land
