Shattered
A broken heart
Lays scattered;
Strewn shards of
Jagged sharp edges
Across a love
Worn field
Of egg shells
And land mines;
Clusters of time
In each piece
Mind recorded
Moments of
Loving bliss
Soul numbing
Ignorance
Overcome by
Lust;
Shattered in
Just one nano
Second
One fraction
Of one minute;
When your lips
Met hers
Instead of mine;
