What are
the requirements
of democracy
in an ennobled
modern society
incorporating
principles
of uncompromising
absolute justice
to light the way?
Democracy requires
accountability
democracy requires
transparency
especially
when extraordinary
steps are taken.
Above all else
democracy requires
compliance with
the rule of law.
Law both domestic
and foreign especially
to achieve maintain
international credibility.
Compliance is impossible
when an extraordinary
despicable technique
such as torture operates
outside of rule the law.
